If you do, what did you think of it, and would you be interested in seeing it again?

What war Island? Was that the thing that happened over a year ago that is now just a memory in the past?

Yes, i want to see that again.,

Anaris

There was a separate minigame played on the same map as the BM War Islands, but with the gameplay being effectively a version of Risk. It was...I dunno, several years ago.

It was kinda fun for a while.

I always thought it would be neat to make the mini-game a part of BM, so that nobles could challenge 2 friends to a game, like a duel, except a game like chess and multiplayer. Something neat to do to pass the time when sitting in a region under orders.

That would actually be really cool. It could even be something a prisoner could do with a judge.

That sounds like a very entertaining idea :)

That sounds cool actually. The mini game was fun, untill you had played like 50 of them and then it became a bit repetitive. But it's been a couple of years and mixing this ingame would be awesome.

*Edit, and how awesome would it be if you held a tournament of those who want to become General and the victor gets the job  :o

Oh yeah! I remember that thing. That was fun!

Yesssss! I haven't been around for it but it sounds awesome! Imagine two friendly generals sharing a game of chess or latrones or whatever other strategic game was popular during medieval times, or having a "strategic duel" of sorts.

I've fond memories of that. Easy to learn, not so easy to master.

Chess was a big part of medieval noble culture so it would be very cool if we had a strategy mini-game tied into BM.

McTang

Yar har, sounds great! Would also help new players have an easy, fun way to engage more deeply from the outset and learn the ropes.

Chenier

Yea, I liked it a lot, but also tired of it fairly quickly, don't really remember why.

Probably because it was, truly, a fairly simple game. And there were no plans to add more to it, if memory serves.
