Can't convert in prison as a lord?

I thought for sure it just dropped all your titles, like it says, but when I try it says I need to switch allegiance of my region instead. I don't wanna bring the region! I wanna change realms!

If you're a lord, you are your region. Your region and you are bound together. Same with dukes and duchies. You must abdicate all claims to regions and duchies if you wish to change realms without your land.

Still, prison allegiance changes may quite likely need inspected and possibly cleaned up a bit. It's older code and even if there may have been updates since, they may have missed something.

Yea, I suspect the prison code is antiquated and probably will strip you of your lordship.

Might be the same with tournaments.

Yeah, still not letting me convert without first stepping down from my region, which I can't do because in prison.
