Guards for caravans

Plenty of times I've sent food to regions via caravan to be sold and it's come under attack by monsters, losing a bit of income for the region. Could we have the option to send guards along with the caravan to defend it from monsters? Maybe not protecting it entirely, but reducing some of the loss.

Or, send out smaller caravans, but more of them. It costs slightly more but reduces your risk.
