I'll admit to being a little impatient on that...

That last Fred roleplay is a reference to some other roleplay that was badly done, anyone have a link to that?

The one about innuendo and the OOC miscommunication fail?

no, the 'teacup' comment. Wasn't there some absurd roleplay about blocking a swordswing with a teacup, a year or more ago?

Oh that. In parody of something I heard a Himoura did.

Ah, Far East Island, where "things make sense", and nobles "do things for a reason".

Too bad that reason is usually "because he's bat-!@#$ crazy".

When the ruler of one of the largest realms names himself after a flaming bird that commits suicide via self-immolation to be reborn as a naked baby version of itself, then one wonders...

You know what, I just worked out what tastes better then fried chicken.

That'll be Fred's campaign platform in case he ever lives long enough to try to become the next king.

"The last king was a phoenix, and phoenixes fry themselves. Since I fry chickens, that means I am logically the crown prince. Phoenix is a bird, and chicken is a bird. Therefore my logic is supreme!"

Y'all know you'd get a kick out of that if only for the pure bat!@#$ insanity.

Throw in something about comparative weights and you have unassailable logic right there.

Southern logic wins again ya'll!

Anyways,

The general debauchery in BoM is pretty hilarious. Lots of killing things with axes and getting drunk on mead in the process.

He forgot the horse eating. Nothing says victory quite like a Viking army dining on the enemy cavalry.

The Makarians marry their food, eat their horses, and ride their womenfolk into battle.

Which is why Makarian cavalry is feared throughout Atamara. After you kill the rider, you still have an angry wench to deal with.

This is really true.  Speaking as someone who knows lots of "why"s...This is the answer far more often than you might actually guess.  Jenred firmly believes (not thinks, or has suspicions, but is completely convinced) that there is a Ruler's Curse that actually makes powerful people on the Far East Island go insane.  He has half a dozen nobles actually scattered about the place under orders to take him down when he succumbs, and he puts it down to divine protection that he hasn't yet.

Of course, he's silly, because the correct answer is that he was bat!@#$ crazy then became powerful.

Dang, talk about an expiry date on your marriage...
