Noble changing faith?

I was trying to change the religious belief of one of my characters but he could not become a follower of a new religion, due to already being a follower of another.

Does he have to go to a shrine/temple of the current religion to denounce it or how does it work?

Yep, you have to go to a temple to renounce your old faith.

This is intentional, to reflect how serious changing your religion should be.

I guess you could also get kicked out by an Elder, but normally you will have to find a Temple indeed.
