Ok, so what is that that you've seen?

It is a totally revolutionary gaming concept: Homeopathic BattleMaster.

As with the successfull and popular homeopathic medicine, I have taken the entire BattleMaster code, and dissolved it into several megabytes of spaces, the digital equivalent of water.
Then, I have taken one random character from that total, and again dissolved it into several megabytes of spaces.
And then, I've repeated that procedure about 20 times.

And the final character taken from the final solution is at that domain.

Like homeopathic medicine, it follows the "like treats like" principle. So if you are addicted to BattleMaster and just can't get enough of it, that page will help you relax and calm down and - most importantly - get your fix of BM in a healthy, organic and environment-friendly way.

Also, it is patented and will cost three times as much as BattleMaster does.

WTF ?

Or: "But it isn't April 1st!"

No.

But it apparently is World Homeopathy Day, and if that isn't just like April 1st, then I don't know what is.

Would Blizzard sue me if I posted a homeopathic version of WoW ?

I really got my Battle Master Fix there Tom.   I really appreciate that.

I can feel it working already, it just soothes my soul.

It feels sweet, and sugary. . oh wait.   Hold on.  Maybe that's the placebo.   DAMNIT.

I loved the concept.  It totally works.  Every elf in Sirion should use homeopathic Battlemaster while the Westmoorians and Perdanese poison themselves with the allopathic version.  ;D

The character you got was a single space?! What are the odds, clearly the hand of the divine was trying to tell us to empty ourselves of all reason and doubt.

Same.  Simple white page.

In which case, I agree.  Let the "elves" use that. ;D

I should dual-market it. As both homeopathic and zen. ;-)

That is the point.  Let them be healed with alternative methods.  ;)

Perfect! I can visualize the "good old days" of Battlemaster, when things were "perfect"! And then I can imagine the fall of Lukon and Aurvandil, and see it all play out in my minds' eye.

Tom,

This is golden. It captures my feelings on the wonderful world of homeopathy perfectly!

You should of put 1 actual line of code, though, in like 1000 blank lines. Now that's homeopathy, not just two blank lines of code. ;)

Statistically, the odds of actually having part of the original medicine in a given dose of homeopathic 'medicine' are beyond belief. Especially the really 'strong' stuff.

But you'd overdose on that! A droplet at a time, no more.

What? You can never overdose on a homeopathic medication! It is one of the only aspects of homeopathy I can mostly agree on...

You can die from drinking too much water.

Exactly why I said I could 'mostly' agree with it! I would down a bottle of any homeopathic medication with no worry. 27 bottles, however, that would make me a little sick I think.

Just to be clear, I have no love for chemical medications. If they work, that is great. If there is a more natural alternative, even better. It is homeopathic medicine in particular that I find baffling. If a medication is proven to be effective using scientific means like double blind tests, I do not care if it is bat blood or factory produced drugs. I have yet to see evidence that homeopathic remedies are more effective than a bottle of water and a lie.

That would just be dilluting it, not homeopathy.

Following homeopathic thinking, you can't overdose, since that would lead to a higher concentration and thus less effect. However, we are all constantly underdosing on pretty much everything out there, and the results should be fatal.

But this is not the time to laugh about it. I've had my laugh, now we can move on. :-)

In homeopathic medicine, underdosing is overdosing  ;)
