Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the calendar that gave it birth comes again. In one calendar, called the Long Calendar by some, a calendar yet to come, a calendar long past, a wind rose above the great mountainous island of Belauterra. The calendar was not the ending. There are neither beginnings nor endings to the Mayan calendar. But it was an ending.
