Must every war be the 'great' war? If BM keeps insisting on naming every war as 'great' then none can truly be judged as great. I can only count one 'great' war and that was the EC war that raged from 2004 to 2007, saw multiple realm deaths, the birth of new realms (some of which died along the way), repeated rebellions to switch sides, various intrigues, and was truly great.
Not to mention 'great' is such a bland adjective. Wars' names are best chosen in hindsight anyway, when the historians analyze them.
The current positioning of D'haran troops is rather favorable too.
So, lets armchair general on this Great War: These are the available numbers
Magna Saecularibus Alliance:132,791 CS/49938 gold
Niselur-20,528 CS/9701 gold
Phantaria-12,124 CS/2460 gold
Asylon-22,128 CS/9707 gold
Libero Empire-17,160 CS/4504 gold
Farronite Republic-19,149 CS/5820 gold
Luria Nova-41,702 CS/17746 gold
Bloodstar Alliance 145616 CS/49988 gold
Astrum-56,313 CS/15480 gold
Morek Empire-42,968 CS/15385 gold
D'Hara-23,757 CS/9385 gold
Corsanctum-15,980 CS/7956 gold
Terran-6,598 CS/1782 gold
So if we look at what capitals are nearest each other, we can group together potential conflicts:
Luria Stage
Luria-D'Hara-Swordfell-Fissoa-Aurvandil
Lurian armies will arrive on D'Hara shores with a turn or two.
Arresting a priest is never a secular issue for the mere fact that the only reason you can arrest them is because they are priests. i.e. you can only arrest them because of their religious office. Arresting a priest and saying it has nothing to do with the religion (and thus they have no reason to get involved) is like shooting the pope and saying the Catholic church has nothing to do with it, and shouldn't get involved.
Now, if it were possible to arrest nobles of a class other than priest, then I could see how you could claim that an arrest of a priest is a secular issue. As it stands, IMHO, arresting a priest is *always* an issue that concerns the religion.
A secular issue, aye? Nice try.
Interesting how there is a cloud around the future of Astromancy and low and behold the Aristocracy is available as a potential alternative. Coincidence? Divine Providence? You decide
Not the way we intend to do it. And ya, you are right, but now this is the new and improved nobility; a nobility above nobility = aristocracy.

Truth.
The thing I see is 'entitlement' . Not one realm or RP or religion is entitled to anything in BM the only ones who mean anything are the nobles and their willingness to take what is theirs. SA cannot survive without its alliances, the harder they squeeze the more realms will slip through their fingers...
I'm sure the bully will come to startle us all in the same way. Why don't Luria and D'hara just help each other on this one issue, if anything, it'd be the only completely justified war, and the most necessary war in Dwilight.
Yarr!
In general I like it. Two suggestions though,
1. Can we get the'Kingdom of D'hara' to actually fit the crest? In PSD, I believe this can be done easily by just rasterizing the type and CTL+T -> warp.
2. Can we get arid of the severe aliasing around the borders? It's messy.
Otherwise, it's pretty cool. I can do these corrections if there is any demand for it, I am after all a pretty strong CG artist in my professional life.
