[Sailor: Look a woman... it’s a Woman! Jejejjejeje.]

Sonya wakes up and finds herself drifting in the sea. All she can remember was the quick getaway, where her trusted friend Tharan grab her by the arms and throw it her the boat, before losing consciousness all she could hears was "Y.uu..mu....t...i..vee."

Looking around she sees nothing but water the boat was adrift, and with no sense of direction she didn’t had a clue where she were, looking at the sky was of no help as well, the life of Atamara didn’t care for such trivial things as sailing. All she could do was wait and waiting she fell asleep.

The sound of a ship bumping on her boat woke her up, the sailors gather on the port of the ship to take a glance of what was there.

Sailor: Look a woman... it’s a Woman! Jejejjejeje.

Sailor: Look this one has pretty clothes must be someone from the sunken isles.

Voice: get your (censored) out of there and go back to work you lazy bastards.

That was the captain of the ship, he approaches to the port and look down to the boat, the sailors returned, only two remained with him. He was missing an eye and had more scars than an experience noble in an old battlefield, life in the sea sees more rough.

Captain: well well what do we have here, but is a noblewoman, and for her clothes must be Atamarian… the lost continent hahahahahahahahaha!

He jumps down from the ship to the boat, his skills were great, and he landed in the middle of it without causing too much movement. Sonya crawls to the border of the boat looking around for things and means how to defend herself, but then there were none.

As the same time the Captain was close to grab Sonya, she yell for help and everything slow down to a point where everything stops, she can see the captain paralyzed, the sailors not moving, neither the ship, boat or waved, only her.

From a far she listen a hum that caught her attention, and there she sees someone actually walking on the sea, a man with an estrange hat and playing with something that resembles a yo-yo. Unmuted by everything he walks approaches to Sonya.

Man: Wassup!

Sonya: Was…what?.... Who are you and what do you want?

Man: ohhh don’t be like that, I came here for you, excuse my dialect I sometimes forget what time in history I am.

He stop humming and the yo-yo disappears, but to make things worse, he summons a Mandolin and with strange rhythms he says.

Man: I came for you rescue girl, and you should now be glad, walking on the sea I walk, to take you from the pirates. I heard your voice and here I am the almighty being everyone calls a Titan by your people.

Sonya: aren’t these things myths? Tales used by the parents to scare the children and commoner... Also your rhythms are awful.

Titan: People these days are hard to please, no wonder we sunk their islands.

Mutters the Titan looking at the sides.

Sonya: what are you talking about I can’t understand anything you say, do you know where I am?

The Titan throws the mandolin and summons a book and strangely a pair of glasses, then starts to read.

Titan: well… apparently you were supposed to get somewhere, but another of you is elsewhere.

Sonya opens her eyes wider in exclamation.

Titan: well in a more simple term there are two Sonya roaming the world and that cause some strange paperwork’s problem, you know we like to observe everyone and take notes on them, and having two like you is kind of….problematic.

Sonya: can you solve that problem?

Titan: aye! All I need to do is a sing a song!

Yes as you guessed… the Mandolin is back…

Sonya: noo the mandolin nooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOO!

Suddenly Sonya wakes up yelling NO! She is on the same boat but this time she is at some where’s harbor, she looks around and the nearby people was looking at her strangely.

Little Kid: Mom what happens to that woman?

Mother: shhhh do not look at her… she is crazy...

A man approaches Sonya help her getting off the boat and taking his hat greets.

Harbor Manager: Welcome to Gelene madam! I am the manager of this harbor, quite the dreams you got there.

Sonya: IT WAS more a of the nightmare type, trust me! So this is Gelene of where?

Harbor manager: the city hall is close by, you should go there and address your papers accordingly, there you can send letter and contact other nobles of the situation, and you see this realm is quite new...

Sonya: thanks! Now I have to find them.

And so Sonya arrives to the land of Gelene, in a new unknown island with new people to meet with many things to do, well if she has the time….

During my migration problems last month, i lost over 24,000 gold coins. didn't notice the "RED MESSAGE" until recently, also some one told em to put a ticket here...  ::)

I don't need much recovered, is fun being poor but with +/- 2000 gold i could help my situation in Westgard, Gelene. The monster there give no chances to rest, no states, no income....etc.

Last week i made the mistake of Pointing my problem inside another's similar thread to avoid having duplicate.

I send my problem to the Bug tracker but i haven't gotten solution, still as today i am locked out game. i cant move my characters, because a duplicate character stayed behind (yes is drowned too and asking to emigrate as well), raising my character limit. so as you should know i cant access any other.

I have been with arms crossed waiting, and it seems i need to take swimming lessons.

In game the Realms Laws are fixed to an amount of 4, these are:

Any kind of looting
Issuing or accepting a duel challenge
Founding a new religion
Magic and spellcasting

I know that these have automatic announcement, also it says:

This is mostly a simplification for you as it saves you the trouble to do it manually

Well the problem is that there are more rules or laws we would like to add, and most of the time we end using the Judge Bulletin which also has a limit of 5000 character, which is not much space if you have to present the Bulletin text and or Additional realm rules, so then i ask.

Is there a way that we can have the ability to create laws Manually, is not necessary to trigger any warning, but just be visible in the "Realm Laws" section in the "Information" tab.

If not, can we have an increase in characters in the Bulletin board. This one i do not like much because is just a bulletin not a Law Board, but it helps.

We lost the city last weekend to the Ice but i remained there all the time to have fun fighting the Snow Trolls but they are really strong, during the week in another topic  (Link) i got the idea to write a RP.

It has already been posted on realm, but for the rest of BM player who enjoys some RP here is. Also ingam eRP are lost in 30 days so i wanted to preserve it  ::)

Hello everyone, this is a Roleplay that involved many characters during more than a week of interval. Will try to piece things together for a nice reading, note that different players format their Roleplay-Dialog Text differently, will try to unify the format to avoid confusions.

Leatho Blint

Leatho stood in the shadows of a tree, he looked over the camp of his prey. The king of Suville. He played back in his mind the vision he'd had of Da Goat, telling him he must strike down the man who would seek to cause terror across the lands.

He moved off into the night, he moved through the fields and trees that lined the edge of the camp. He moved into the camp and came up behind a personal guard, not a highly trained soldier. Leatho clamped his hand across the man's mouth and whispered.

"For Da Goat"

Before he slit the man's throat. He moved on and came across two more guards, throwing his knife at one and sprinting to the other, he heard the gurgle of the one man as his knife hit him in the throat and Leatho slid on the ground sweeping the second man's legs from under him and hitting him the throat, temporarily paralyzing his vocal chords. He then snapped the man's neck. Retrieving his blade he moved on.

He snuck around the back of the tent where Kindel was sleeping, he quietly cut a hole in the tent and stepped inside. He crept over to the still sleeping form of Kindel, he drew his dagger and as he was about to strike the man woke up. Leatho hit him in the sternum knocking the wind from him and then stabbed him between the ribs. A quick surgical cut. He waited until he felt the sigh and breath leave Kindel, the man was alive, barely. If he did not receive medical attention soon he would bleed out and die. He drew his sword and stepped out the front of the tent, with two strong quick slashes from his sword, the two personal guards that stood outside the tent lost their heads. Leatho went back inside and wrote a quick note that read;

"For your transgressions against Da Goat and his way, I strike thee down in his name. Be warned all who would seek to harm out faith. All followers will be protected and avenged. Da Goat laughs at those who would come and challenge his followers. So I dare thee, come and seek retribution, all shall see the same fate. "

With that he posted it into the main post of the tent with a knife and left. As he was leaving the camp he tossed a burning log onto a tent on the outskirts. A message and warning to all who would hunt and hurt Da Goat.

After this the rumours spreaded through all continent, leatho was asked for the queen to make presence on the Palace.

Leatho Blint

Leatho rode through the streets of Sullenport and was greeted with various looks, some awe, some respect, but mostly fear. The common folk didn't know what to make of the silent hunter as he rode quietly through the streets. Moments later he was riding up the main path to the Imperial palace, met by the royal guard with stern faces and even sterner voices he handed the reigns to a stable boy who took his horse.

He ascended the steps of the palace and was met by a contingent of guards who stopped him. He could tell by the way they approached him that they were meant to frisk him for weapons. The guard reached his hand out to start patting him down and Leatho grabbed the man's wrist and said in a low gruff voice.

"I kill people for a living, do you really think I am unarmed? Or that I need a blade to kill someone should they be a target? Lastly, if I were to kill the queen, do you really think I would bother walking through all her security checkpoints knowing full well I would be checked like this?"

The guard stuttered a bit and didn't know how to react until a commander walked into the room and said

"Release your weapons to us."

Leatho smiled a wolfish grin and said in a tantalizing tone.

"You are welcome to try and take them from me."

The guard stepped forward and pulled Leatho's sword from its sheath and Leatho pulled the man to him in the blink of an eye with a knife at his throat.

"You forgot this blade to. As well as the others stashed about my body. How about I get them for you, so no one here has to hurt themselves."

Only then did Leatho acknowledge the fact that there were several archers with bows drawn taunt pointed at him. He stepped back from the guard and handed his knife to him hilt first. Several moments later he was being lead to a waiting room and sat in a wooden straight backed chair. The guard knocked on the door and announced his presence to the Queen and then left.

Alex Kessler

From window of his office, Alex saw Leatho Blint riding towards the castle. Words has spread of the arrival of Leatho in Sullenport. The door knocks and here comes one of the castle's guard-in-command and another guard. Alex turns away from the window, he had a quick glance on the young guard, a bit naive looking, easily bullied and quickly turn back to the commander.

The commander asked, "You like to see me, General?"

"Just in time....", he nods and took a short glance out before facing back, "I'm sure you noticed Leatho has arrived and he seek audience with Her Majesty...."

"Yes."

"Disarm him....."

"Most certainly....." as he pardon himself out of the door. A bit of hesitating, he turned to Alex, "General.... Will you be joining in the meet?"

"Depends, only if Her Majesty commands......"

"I'll be own my way then", before making his way, Alex interupts, "Also...... Send someone to call Siegfried back from his holidays....."

"Very well......", the guard said.

Sonya Jimenez

There is a loud commotion outside of the Palace on Sullenport, filled with letter from around the continent Sonya sighs and lean back on the chair to take a breath, quickly a guard comes and deliver a message.

"Your majesty!"

"What is that commotion, i am not in the mod neither is the time for such things!"

"Your pardon my Queen, but Leatho is outside as you requested, he is speaking with the General."

Sonya twist the letter she has on hand while grinding her teeths.

"Tell them to come, and leave the door open for any noble on Sullenport to come, this is not a trial, but something we must discuss."

The guard turn around to give the messages then stops, and slowly return to Sonya while asking...

"Well...ahh your majesty, he does not want to surrender his weapons, shall i request him in your name?"

Rising her voice, Sonya hit the table with anger with her reply.

"Of course he will not hand over his weapon, if he does that i will personally kill him myself"

Sonya points at the guard like if she were kicking him out.

"Go move and call Kari as well, in the situation i am right now i will need someone to control me!"

The guards proceed to give the messages, at the same time more correspondence arrives.

Alex Kessler 

He walks while stretching a bit wearing his armor and his sword on it's hilt. A little tight after so long in peace. He usually don't drink beer but he did it anyway. As he walks towards the main castle, he sense some kind of weird vibe. People are a bit restless. Some look like they have slept for days.

"I wonder  what happened.......", he asked himself. Sipping his beer and practically hopping his way to the castle. What an adorable sight.

The moment he enters the castle, courtiers, squires, you name it, all ran towards him. Everyone was waiting for his arrival.

"Sire, where do you want to set the command posts?", "Sir, we need you to read this message", "Sir, there's a list of things that I'm suggesting that we shoud do.....", and the questions was endless. He tried to push them aside being clueless in the loop.

"Stop..... Stop..... Stop!!!!!"

Suddenly everyone stopped their pushing and questioning. And then he asked:

"Where's the General?", asked Siegfried.

"The General?", one of the audience said, "He asked us to seek you just a moment ago...... 'All paperworks will be handled by Siegfried', he said to us and he asked us to give you this", as he handles over a piece of paper.

"Siegfried, never expected seeing you with a beer in your hand but good job. Still, the hopping was a little childish. Good luck with paperworks and welcome back from your holidays"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Siegfried screamed.

Leatho Blint

Leatho sat in the waiting room outside Sonya's office, the chairs were obviously designed to make one feel uncomfortable and very aware of their posture. Which Leatho pushed to the back of his mind. He smiled to himself as he thought about the looks on the guards faces when he refused to ahdn over his weapons.

"Kari will be furious about this situation"

Leatho thought to himself. The guard opened the door to Sonya's office and had a look of fear and confusion written on his face. Leatho stood gracefully and entered the room. He had heard that the queen was opening this "conversation" up to the public and was curious to see who would turn out for it.

As he walked into the room he took note of every guard in the room, their positions and the way they held themselves. All of them looked nervous to have him in such close proximity to the queen. Leatho stood in the middle of the room his hands clasped gently together in front of him, he bowed at the waits and inclined his head as he said,

"My Queen, what can I do for you?"

Sonya Jimenez   

Sonya gazes at the silhouette of sir Leatho entering the hall, she put the letters in the table then stands up walking towards Leatho.

"Sir Leatho Blint, it has been a while since we saw each other."

She approaches to Sir Leatho, gives him a hug and then she returns back to her desk and with a smile continues to speak.

"How have been your adventures through the continent, I have heard news of your amazing deeds, assaulting Council Members and Royal Families."

She stares at Leatho and grimes at him.

"The continent seems to be too small for you right now....so I wonder..."

She sorts out some letters on her desk and picks one with a hand, while hitting her desk hard.

"I wonder WHY IN THE NAME OF "#$/>)%!/(!25&%/(!#"% YOU ASSAULTED KING KINDEL?"

Sonya's humor changes, the forceful smile she had a while ago is long gone, and starts to throw at Leatho's feet some of the letters she has in her desk.

"Look all of that, you have idea of what is that? These are the letter and report I have received from around the continent, don't give me predicaments of spies and conspirator theory."

Sonya stands up and starts to walk around, stopping at moments to see Leatho and talk.

"Everyone knows you work in the shadows; I am not condemning that, which could have been solved like I do all the times when you get in caught in foreign land lurking in the bedroom of some Realm's Council, smiling and playing the fool. Promising to do something and wait for them to forget."

"This time, not only you abandoned the shadow that protect you, you went out and taunt your victims and using the name of Da Goat without permission to declare a holy war with a realm that have been on my nerves the entire time"

"You, an infiltrator, took part into a personal vendetta in PUBLIC! Do you think you are immortal, that you will not get caught ever, I haven't seen so far the perfect assassin, all and every one of them have failed."

Sonya stops moving and return to her desk standing in front of it, from there she pick up another report.

"Don't stay there silently, this is not funny. I need you to talk, tell me everything, about the assault, about Ivore, about using Da Goat, and last but not least ABOUT KINDEL!"

She sits in expectancy of Leatho's reply, twisting the report she had in her hand, while murmuring.

"I will not let you sink Carelia alone, I will make a deep hole and bury you first........."

Leatho Blint

Leatho stood there silently as he listened to the queen berate him, her shouting and accusations swung at him and he stood there, motionless and silent as though they were not even hitting him. When at last she demanded him to speak and listed what he was to speak of he tilted his head, the first movement he had made in nearly 20 minutes. His icy pale blue eyes stared at Sonya for a long while as he gathered his thoughts to him.

"My queen, you are asking me questions that I cannot answer. You ask me to divulge secrets and information that I am not at liberty to speak of."

He saw the fury begin to rise in her eyes and face and he quelled it by starting to speak again.

"I will tell you what I can. You are right about a lot. I have caused you more trouble then I am worth, I am the first to admit that. But that is exactly what I do. I cause trouble. You of all people should understand the ripple effect that one person's actions can have. As to your question of my mortality. I do not think myself immortal. Quite the opposite in fact, I am all to aware of my mortality and the ever looming possibility of death each and every day."

Leatho began to pace slowly. His hands folded behind his back. He ignored the slight urge to scratch at the scar on the left side of his face.

"There are more people who want to see your head on a spike than you can imagine. My actions against King Kindel were not out of personal vendetta. Drunks would call what I experienced, a moment of clarity. I saw a path laid out before me and I followed it. Kindel happened to be on that path as an obstacle. I simply removed him from the path. My brother once told me that Death smiles and greets us all, every day. All we can do as men and women of this earth are smile back and simply tell death, not today my friend. I fight that battle every day."

Leatho stopped and stared directly at Sonya as she sat behind her desk.

"You sit there and accuse me and demand that I speak on the actions of Lord Ivore. I cannot do that. I know not why he attacked Kindel. However I can tell you this, I would happily die for Ivore, he is a brother to me and I to him. We are all just pawns on the world stage. We who choose to act, we who choose to move up and take control as players rather than pieces, we are the ones who make a difference. You can condemn me to whatever hell you believe in and banish me from this realm. But know this. In the end everyone receives their dues."

Leatho stepped back and bowed his head respectfully before saying

"My queen, I am afraid that I can not say anything else. I apologize for not being able to satisfy your need for knowledge. Will there be anything else?"

Alex Kessler

Alex stood there, leaning against the wall next to the door, outside of the Queen's office. He is aware of everything they said. He heard everything. When he walked in when Leatho bowed his head, he interrupted before the Queen could response.

"My Queen, if I may....."

He stared at Leatho, with a hard look on his face. He rethinks of the chaos that he has done. He sighed and continued:

"I heard of all the excuses you give before I entered this office. I ask you now..... Who do you pledge your loyalty most....? You are thinking of the questions that you can't answer. If you really are loyal to Carelia, you would ask yourself, what are questions that you can answer. You are a man of oath, you speak highly of your loyalty to keep those secrets and information but now is not the time for that. Now is the time to redeem and show your loyalty to Carelia. Even if you so ever choose to not reveal those 'secrets and information', I prefer you telling us all you can answer to Carelia, and not only when the questions come forward. That is of course.... If you ever thought of Carelia's well-being......"

And then he turned to the Queen.

"Pardon me for my long speech. Here's the report for the day. I won't be around the palace, my Queen. I got some errands that needed my attention.", he bowed to everyone and said, "Farewell......"

He walks near Leatho, took one look, tucked his arms around himself and walks away.

Leatho Blint 

Leatho listened to another berating from Sir Alex, the relatively new and untested General At Arms. He stood there silently and again did not move while he was being questioned and accused.

"I pledge my loyalty to those who have earned it. I have been alive and serving Carelia far longer than you. I have shown my loyalty to Carelia time and time again. I have bled for this realm. I have lost friends and family for this realm and I have served with honor and distinction in my time as a soldier of the battlefield."

Leatho took a deep breath and paused, he collected his thoughts and then launched into his speech.

"How dare you stand there and dictate to me what now is the time for. It has been the time for action for as long as I can remember and yet Carelia sits idly by and grows fat and bored. Weak and undisciplined as they obey the commands of a heathens and half-wits. I will not sit by and watch Carelia crumble fall into nothing. She was once the Hammer of the South! She has become the whore of the South! We are laughed at and mocked as our Queen tries to so called appease our enemies."

He turned to Sonya and bowed his head before saying

"Your Grace, I am sorry for saying what I must, but you asked for the truth and here it is. When will you grow a spine and gather our armies? Carelia was once strong and now we are weak. Weakness is temporary, but will become permanent if you let it. Discipline must be reinforced or it will crumble. Martial skill must be honed or it will be lost. We have sat around drinking and whoring like we are the victors. We are weak and pathetic."

Leatho looked over at Alex and said

"As for you, all I have ever done is think of Carelia's well being. And I promise you, should anyone ever suggest otherwise I will see to it they meet my blade."

A new war is breaking out

We all know that on BM the Chevalier is a higher ranked Knight, but according to language (for example Spanish) Chevalier and Knight means the same thing.

I have been looking for internet and have break my head  in pieces, so i invite the BM's Medieval Expert to join me  :-\

How do we separate the BM class Knight and Cavalier since more or like mean the same on title Base.

I have been wondering since a long time, how i am suppose to know if the skill of another character is superior to mine?
EX:

If my X skill if from 50% i think i can't tell what % have those higher than me, also if i am 50% i can't be impressed by someone whose kills is at 40%.

I know that Tournament outcome is different, but at least in the Showoff things should be as you see it, comparing yourself with the others, you can see the ability of those below yours, but not of those above, it will be like the Trainers higher trainer can teach you better things.

I always think that feedbacks are better than request at first.

"To Hell We All Are Going"



In an Underground Laboratory, Scientists have been working on how expand the lifespawn of human, sort of youth experiments. During the experiments there was a huge gas leak, causing a explosion on the laboratory, the scientist and the human experiments Carmella, were exposed to the radiation. What will happens next is uncertain but most likely won't be anything good.....


The Rules
The Menace Within is a game of paranoia, deception and confusion. Hidden among  the innocent, unprotected Scientists there is a disease who will kill them. The Scientists have laboratories to analyze and synthetize a cure, but they don't know who is infected. Meanwhile, the disease acts quickly and will kill a scientist a day at time until there is none.


Standard Big Rules


There are 2 roles, Good Scientists, and a Mad Scientist.

The game is divided into 1 period – 24 hour event. Each update will be made as well 24 hours apart.

Each day, all players vote to incinerate one of the players - the person they think is most likely infected. Each day, the Disease will Infect a scientist.

The scientist have two operational rooms 1 Research Chambers, to synthesize the cure, and 1 Laboratory, to analyze people for infections, but only one can be used every 24 hours, so the players will have to vote which of both to use and with who(in case of Laboratory).

WARNING:

Synthesizing a cure takes 3 game days, i mean choose to work the Research Chambers any 3 days. After that all remaining scientist will be safe, still they need to choose who incinerate while they wait, because the disease will not wait.

Synthesizing will only eliminate the disease, but still the bad guys is around and will take action on his hand, or infect some one else again.

Laboratory Results will be Given the next Event. Result will be given by the computer to every scientist by either Negative/Positive Result

The Disease will spread to everyone targeted for the Mad Scientist, The scientist will catch the infection and have 24 Hour to find a cure or get the Mad Scientist, The next day the Infected will just drop dead, just before the vote counts, But before that he can still give his ideas y opinions before kicking the buck.  :P

ALL PLAYERS have to vote 2 times, one for the Scientist to incinerate, and the "Operational Rooms" everyone will use.

IF the Laboratory is the election, you have to vote as well who will be analized, sorry no tied on this since there is room for 1 person, the computer will choose who will be analyzed  ;D

The Laboratory will scan for traces of the disease, meaning that not only the Infected can be found, but the creator (Mad Scientist) as well.



The Scientists can try to incinerate multiple people by creating a glorious, Lemeard-approved tie, you know what they say.........is better safe than worried.


This is a win or lose game, if everyone dies, then everyone lose, as well those who survive will be the real winners.

The Mad Scientist and/or his Followers will Win if "Everyone Else"  is killed.

If the Mad Scientist is killed, the Recruited will become Mad Scientists, if the disease is purged, then the Bad guys will proceeed to kill the rest directly with their hands.

Standard Werewolf Rules

• §1A. - You sign up to the game by requesting so in a post in this thread.
  §1B - No new players will be admitted after the game has started, except to substitute for another player.
  §1C - You may at any time be substituted out by requesting so in the thread.
  §1D - Failure to vote on two occasions will lead to immediate substitution.



• §2A – Players will vote daily. See Rule 1D.
  §2B – Invalid votes (Voting for Game Moderator/Ghosts) will not be accepted and be considered to be in violation of Rule 2A.
  §2C – In the event of a tie all tied players will be executed.
  §2D - The player(s) with the majority of votes at deadline are considered dead. They will not reveal any inside information after the deadline. The presumed dead player(s) should post in a non-default colour until their true role is confirmed.



• §3A - Orders and votes submitted after deadline are ignored.
  §3B - Orders (tests, hunts, et cetera) are sent to the Game Moderator via PM.
  §3C - Players are responsible for any Private Messages missed due to inbox being full.



• §4A - Spectators and ghosts may comment, but never suggest a course of action, reveal any new information, including vote counts, or discuss any details of their former character, in the case of ghosts. Preferably spectators will comment only in a manner tangential to the actual game.
  §4B - When doing ghost/spectator commentary, please use a non-default colour.
  §4C - Please don't use the same color of text as the GM is using.



• §5. - Alliances and Feuds which aren't based on your characters or roles in the game between players are forbidden. Alliances and Feuds which continue from one game to another undermine the whole idea of the game.



• §6A – The Game Moderator has the last word on all matters.
  §6B – If the Game Moderator makes a mistake (e.g. with the vote count, hunt/test orders), if critical information has been revealed, the mistake will be kept.



• §7A – Forging PMs is allowed. Screenshots of PMs is not.
  §7B – Posting or quoting of PMs from the GM is not allowed - real or forged.
  §7C – Players may use PMs to coordinate their actions.  Players are reminded to use the public thread where possible.



• §8A – Voting must be done in the following way. Write "VOTE" and the person you are voting for in bold text.
  §8B - If you wish to un-vote someone, write "UNVOTE" and their name in bold text.
  §8C - In case of re-voting without un-voting the original vote will be the counted vote.
  §8D - Do not edit votes after posting them. If you make a mistake, unvote and revote in a new post.
  §8E - Votes should be oversized or clear of other text to ensure they are not missed by the GM.
  §8F - We won't be super specific about how you must vote, but be a dear and hit at least two of these: bold, larger font, white/light colored text.



• §9 - The GM can and will remove players if the GM believes that player is adversely affecting the game, for example through failure to fulfill voting obligations or deliberate violation of the rules. This will be done through the use of killing the player's role, or using substitutes, if they are available. All such decisions are made solely at the discretion of the GM.



• §10 - Failure to vote on 2 occasions without prior notice will result in automatic substitution. If no substitution have been found 6 hours before deadline, the player will be auto-lynched at next deadline.



• §11 - The game will start with one NPC dying on the very first night and the first player character The Thing hunts will automatically be infected regardless of trait. This means on the very first night, there is only ONE The Thing and one NPC will die and one player will be infected and secretly turn into a second The Thing.

The deadline of this game is 18:00 GMT+2 ( <- BM Sunset Time)
Votes and orders made on 17:59 will count, while those made on 18:00 WILL NOT.


The Roles


Scientists ONLY!
Scientists: The simplest role - without corroborative evidence, a Scientist knows nothing for sure, but can use the power of his vote to help lynch others.
Mad Scientist - This scientist is the one who caused the explosion, he can vote for some one to be incinerate, but will sabotage the "Operational Room" he chooses, this sabotage will subtract a vote instead of adding it and no one but him will know it.

Traits

All Traits will be Revealed
Healer: This player has a Proterozoic Serum. If he get infected with the disease he can use it for extend his life for another day
Evil Intentions:  A Scientist with this trait have a "Hiden Dark Side" and will join the Mad Scientist Recruited.
Hunter: Has a single-use gun that he may use at night to kill one other player.  May only be used once per game.  The hunter's identity will be revealed.
Escapist: Starting with 0% on the first night, and increasing by 25% each night, the player may escape from the installation, still there is not victory for a Coward, he will not win or lose, just Survive
Recruiter : Can scan one person each night to see if he have Evil intentions. If so, the Recruiter (who will be of course the Mad Scientist) can recruit him into the gang, the recruiter becomes his master.

FAQ

Do I have to roleplay? No. It's fun and helpful to, but it's not required. Some players don't really roleplay at all, and instead simply post votes and accusations, and that's okay too.

What do I post?/I don't understand! You can post anything you like, really but preferably in an IC POINT OF VIEW.  Typically Scientists will post accusations. "I think he did it, just because!" or "I think she did it, because last turn she voted against the guy who turned out to have the Disease!" Accusations work better when you can back them up with some reason. Trash talking is allowed and encouraged.

I'm infected.  What do I do?  Sorry...you will have no idea if you are infected, and in case you are found infected by Laboratory Analysis .....PRAY TO YOUR GODS!

Are Scientists' votes private or do they go in the main thread? Very definitely public!

How does a substitute work? If a player cannot continue to play, another player may jump into that role. Subs may be players who were previously killed in the current game (though there are caveats, a Bad Guy is often not a good sub because he Knows Things) or a late signup. In either case, when someone subs in, they assume the identity of that slot. Thus if someone who was playing and was the Hematologist/Psychologist, if he gets subbed, the player who comes in is the Hematologist/Psychologist, and pretends that he's been there the whole time.

How long does a game last? Depends on setup and what happens in the game. Could be as short as 2-3 days, or as long as 10 days!

I am sure it was once talking, cant remember if it was on the D-list, but i consider that is necessary a "Reply to All" option in the message list, or at least add the election to the contact list to send message "To One or More"

Is difficult to message or reply two characters who aren't on the same message group, i got a message today and all i can do is sent a response to each separately.

now i remember why i came to this section, and got distracted by another topic on way here.....ahem, here we go.

Netherworld Portal To Other Continents

Summary:
Same as on April's Fool but for real.

Details:
As many of us wished for, we simply receive the visit from one or more (depend on dev. team) Sons of the Netherworld's Lord, this will consist in the portal opening on any random region of the map on any continent, which of course is not BT, and then spawn a monster/Undead(or whatever is called on BT) with a Commander(any #son).

Will say my initial idea, then other suggestions for discussion, fixes and improvements:

• To have a massive stationary force who does nothing but standing there in with the portal, or moves around region, or around realms.
  
• The force can vary from 10,000 to 20,000 CS, or can possibly start small and then grow, either by itself, killing people or attracting nearby hordes to it, we have a lot of possibilities here.
• It will do nothing to the region itself, we can think on morale drop, population drop, if the region is under great paganism we can say it goes rogue, over time? etc.
• Cosmetic effect of the red portal (not in the water please!)

Since is a rare appearance we can talk it could happens 1-2 times a year, maybe making it stronger so the forces would require the help from allies.

Maybe we can add the option to close the portal and go away, if no one challenge the son, and we could add sort of penalty to Continent or realm if that happens.

Nothing besides having something new event-like in game, since we have the undead/monster thing we can say there are necromancer or mages that open a portal, or some adventurer get drunk while playing dices with their portal stones, etc.

I do not expect this to be more beneficial to the game than being a feature that spice the things up once in a year.

It has been a trouble for me that every time i came to read the forums from game window the top navigation (more or less core) Disappear.

I know you may say "you can click back arrow", which is not great if you have lurked the forums for a while, it would be a lot of back-click.  ???

And bout the "open forums on new tab" is a no no!  >:(  try doing that from a cellphone is a pain, and if you are like me who Ninja-Log at the office is better to have an only window open in case the boss comes.  ;D

Would be possible to have a direct link in the forums to the game? like the big BM logo!
