So what's happening in Cagil? There are reports of hundreds of rogues attacking the city across multiple turns.
-
Mostly this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIyixC9NsLI
Specifically, 666 raging ones.
-
Srsly?
-
It was only a matter of time.
-
Yep. A horde of 666 Raging Badgers.
I suspect they are honey badgers. No idea where they are coming from, I think the 'gods' are having a lark :p
-
Gods damn it, Armok! Why have you done this!
-
If it was the work of Armok they would be were-badgers at the very least. More likely some sort of acid spitting were-badger-man of FUN!
-
Oh man that is RICH.
-
I was taken by surprise, I moved to Cagil to get away from the undead rogues as all I had was a cheap unit of crappy peasants with sticks.
Who were then torn apart by surprise badger buttsex.
-
"The Unholy Legions of Armok assaulted Cagil today as Six-Hundred-Sixty-Six Zombie Were-Honey Badgers descended upon the populace, spreading pestilential death upon all in their ravenous wake. Hundreds of peasants are reported missing, two Cagilan nobles have begun their transformation into were-beasts, and the Empire lies in ruin."
What a !@#$in' fitting end to an era, man...
-
I dunno, if we all turned into were-beasts we could have an even more powerful Empire. Rule ALL of Atamara! MWHA WHA HA A!
-
...And then, infect the other continents as we flee the floods.
"A migrant wave of were-Cagilans has appeared!"

That Dwarf Fortress reference tho.
-
As long as their king doesn't start demanding a slade bed, we'll be OK.
-
But he has banned the exportation of alder chairs . We don't have any alder and don't make any wooden chairs, but he has banned it regardless.
Perhaps it's time the pull the lever in his room.
-
Wait, wait, wait... I missed the opportunity to DIE BY BADGERS? UGHHHHHHHH
I've held on to the BoM for so long and I ditched it!
...
Oh well, I guess the EC is getting some Badgers.
-
Capture them and send them to Dwilight.
Maybe that's why the monsters are so strong there.

I noticed some just outside Hawthorne as well were the last tournament was. I had to think back of the tournaments of old and laughed so hard!

Oh god. It would be amazing if there were a yellow-text admin event, like the sinking and monsters, saying that - with the sinking of the continents, strange monstrosities have been discovered floating upon wreckage of the old civilizations. Adrift at sea, they've gone utterly mad - and now, as they land upon our shores, all hell breaks loose...
Hey, it makes sense. ;) If we're getting biological remnants of the Fukushima nightmare in both the US and Brazilian coasts, I can only imagine some hardier monsters and especially undead would be washed out toward the other continents.

You realize that the Fukushima thing is completely overblown by the media, and there are no such "biological remnants".
-
Yeah there is some radiation but it's absolutely negligible compared to normal every day radiation you get. Even more negligible if you eat a banana.
Now some Cthulu stuff? Hell yeah.
EDIT: Also Cagil is starving because the Duke refuses to respond to any messages or do anything about the food situation.

After every major tsunami, deep-sea fauna and flora, as well as those commonly seen in the most majorly-impacted areas, are often found thousands of miles away upon foreign shores. That is what I mean by biological remnants - I'm talking about the originating seismic event and its aftermath, not the veracity of claims of radiation poisoning or environmental effect.

Ah, ok. In that case it's just the 2011 TÅhoku earthquake and tsunami then, since it hit that part of Japan. Fukushima was a specific nuclear facility.

Couldn't remember the name, just winged it. Sorry :)
