Today we celebrate the beginning of the end for the BattleMaster forums. From this point forward, they will become the wretched hive of scum that we all knew was going to happen eventually.
Yes, that's right. Today we have seen the appearance of the very first image banner signature in a post. :'(
-
Yay :D
PS: if it's that much of a problem, I'll simply delete it :)
-
Huh? There's an "official declaration"? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that the mere inception of the BM forums as an actual entity was seamlessly entangled with the state of "gone to hell".
-
Nah, that was just hell freezing over... now we're actually GOING there!
-
At least it will be more comfortable now that it is frozen over. Wasn't a fan of the searing heat.

Sigs should never be allowed to be more than one line of text in height.
-
so, wait, everyone is coming to Phoenix to visit?

In height, you mean? :P
Or do you mean

?

Yeah, that img should be about 2/3s the current height imo. But much wider.
If you want fat pictures, put them as avatar :P

Well, as I uploaded it, the only restriction shown was 'height 60px'. I'm clearly below that (source: http://en.structurae.de/com/index.cfm?id=4 (http://en.structurae.de/com/index.cfm?id=4))

I'm not really sure what that link has to do with the BattleMaster forum...

Well, I wasn't sure how tall '60 pixels' was. On the linked page is an example of a banner that's 60px high.
-
Ah, I was just getting the golden frog. That thing was quite massive. About 4 - 5 times taller than your current signature.

really? Well, let me know if it happens again. I can see how annoying that is :P

The frog is back, with "Domain unregistered"

Crazy frog. Well, that's the end for the banner ;)

*facepalm* Me neither. Tragically, that's the third time now. I lose at the internet >.<
-
Haha, who goes around clicking on random links? :P ;)

I'll applaud for your failure :)
-
I feel sad that there is no clapping emoticon :'(

Ugh, why did I click? I even knew what would happen.

Shizzle is scum of the earth isn't he? You hear that Shizzle? You're ruining lives! :-P
-
That may be, but at least he doesn't have one of those "Hey look at the size of my ePeen!" image banner signatures any more.
-
Haha, who goes around clicking on random links? :P ;)
Hmm... I could make a QR code for that link and put that in random places... lots of people would fall for that, out of sheer curiosity. :-)

That's inspired. Getting stung only after a couple of minutes fumbling on your phone for the QR Reader. Please, please, please do it! :-)

Here you go. The gods will invent a new hell for me for doing this, I'm sure. ;D

I don't even know how those things work. Could someone give me a quick explanation?
Also, I'll be spreading these for sure :)

Most mobile phones (iphones and android) have QR scanning code applications. Open the app, point your phone's camera at the QR (quick response) code, and the app will automatically translate the code into a web address and take you there.

Ok :) Idk what app that would be, but I'll try to find out myself. Thanks :)
