We have many region lordships, and vacant estates. First come, first serve. Cater to ambitious nobles wishing for promotion or new career. New characters are also welcome.

Don't think you got my joke either. I was pointing out that Oligarch city is the richest city compared to any regions that Nivemus has at this time. Hence the word "the best city" 8)

Even Erik had to face some hard times trying to keep Daniel in his place... at the end, it was like "Sirion, even this great, is not enough for two of us..."
I'm not playing like before. It's more like follow orders and stay out of the radar. In Oligarch I still had Garas to provoke, but in Vix people are very lovely with the Serpentis, giving me regions even when I never asked for it! ;)
Also, I have a char in Nivemus... my adventurer.

I joined right after the main thing had already happened, so I don't really blame myself for that. From now onwards, though, that's an entirely different story. I'll see if I can do something to fix our current situation, though good old Brock Ketchum seems to be quite ahead of me on that matter.

Too down south for my liking, Guldor is now an old man and isn't a huge fan of travelling, he would be left as a straggler. But, if you were to came up north, I'd be glad to receive you as you deserve ;)

Xavax is probably a bridge too far. I cannot remember how many successful expeditions Nivemus made down south in its lifetime, prolly can be counted by fingers.

Tell that to our Kronogos, I don't know enough of the past history of Nivemus to see any valid IC reasons for that.

Nonsense, Sirion only fields 12k max these days and are fighting Oligarch also. In addition, if you contact Perdan and offer them access to your facilities, they'll prob be willing to help also. Nivemus can easily take Parm before Sirion even has the time to respond.

Nah, even if we could grab Parm and a couple more regions before Sirion strikes, their counterattack would very likely leave us with less than we started with. Besides, our nobles seem to have become a little lazy, I wonder if war will wake them up. It's either that or fines ::)
What I'm curious about is that reason to fight Xavax. What do you have in mind, Ketchum? We could use some adventure, if only for our new marshal to prove his skills.

Well deserved, completely justified defeatism, do you mean? You've got Selenia in EC, just check the CS count. Besides, I dislike the idea of fighting Sirion with gargoyles, which seem to make up nearly half of our army. Oh, and I'm talking about the motionless, rocky ones btw. Flying armored warriors would be supercool for sure, but it's not what I'm trying to tell you here.

Oh yes 12k that we going to face? Then Garas should know how much Nivemus field these days too. Perdan ally with Nivemus against Oligarch or Sirion? Now that is an interesting proposal to consider, hmmmm...

If your character know Brock well, you will know how conflicted he is. He has reason to attack Oligarch and also not to. Maybe I should attack considering Garas done the unthinkable :P

We both know Nivemus military condition better than those who not there. I have PM-ed you the reason IC ;)
That has not included Caligus is Sirion ally as well and Caligus much closer to Sirion than Nivemus. Diplomacy does play a role in whoever Nivemus choose to fight with or against, along with reasons, justifications together.

Let see if that war between OI and Shadowdale shake things up or some characters make it a habit. But first Selenia need to be crowned Queen of the Southlands Empire by defeating all these many realms in the south. I think you making the progress already :)

anyone whos intimidated by sirion has really not been paying attention to their win-loss record in the oligarch war... not exactly a crack military there.

They may be a little asleep too, but I am under the impression that if Oligarch is having such an easy time is mainly due to the activity difference between both realms. I still remember the Sorraine-Ohnar West stuff at FEI now three years ago or so, our smaller size and overall better activity and coordination was a huge part of the reason we defeated them in the end. That and their most unfortunate combination of pausing leaders and lack of replacements for them, of course.

Well if by activity difference you mean that half of Sirion just plain wasn't going to the battles.

Yep, for sure. I went with OW in that war, and we pretty much fell on the floor out of the surprise when Sorraine lost the war. There was quite a bit of IC and OOC joking about the Sartanists, who followed a God of War but actually sucked at it ;D

lol sartanists. i think ow eventually got screwed by sartanist alliance with arcaea,but Cathay got them back bad in the months leading up to the sinking. now that was a war that highlighted this point, one realm beating an alliance triple their size... badly.

Maybe, I wasn't around between mid 2013 and my return one month ago or so. But yeah, Sartanists were quite amusing back then ;D
