Title: Looting broken?
Post by: Zakilevo on August 18, 2011, 07:54:04 PM
Someone on BT tried to loot a region 7 times but nothing changed (even though messages said he was successful). Is looting option broken at the moment?

Yup. Damaging military infrastructure works though. :-)

I thought it was the other way around?

When will this be fixed? It's a pretty serious bug, considering looting is the main form of warfare nowadays...

I'm assuming when Tom gets home from his vacation.  8)

It's not something the devs can fix?

From what I understand they need to send a fix live, and only Tom can update the database. I absolutely lack all knowledge of how these things work but that's what I think is the "problem".

Or it's "No Looting Week".

Correct.  Devs can change the code, but (currently) only Tom can send things live.

Tom and Tim thought they fixed that looting bug before Tom took off, though.  Not sure what's going on there.

Looks like looting is bugged again. Experienced it on Beluaterra. Looting has effect but does not deduct any hours. Thalmarkin will limit looting to once per turn, to keep things fair.
