Did after the last changes the cost for new buildings change? As for me new buildings now range between 670 and 4720 gold.
I do not believe the the method of calculating building costs changed. However, the old warehouses were not actually buildings, so did not affect the cost of buildings. When they were converted to Granaries, though, you now have more buildings in the regions. Since the cost of buildings depends on the total number of buildings in the region, that makes everything more expensive.
Would it be possible to have this changed?
Yes. Can someone get me some numbers what the situation is?
Thanks

Libidizedd without granaries has 7 buildings. Building that first granary would cost 430 gold. Building one Tournament grounds (I don't have one at all) would cost 1,280 gold.
If you add in the four granaries we have 11 buildings. A fifth granary would cost 17,620 gold. That first tournament grounds is going to cost me 15,110 gold. Basically, adding those four granaries caused the price of any additional building to go up by 12x what it was pre-granary-conversion.
Holy hell. That is insane. It will take months to just build another building...
Because they were not officially part of the "buildings", warehouses were not that expensive for most cities to build. I think Busto built 6 in Muspelheim. Now that they are "buildings", that's going to make everything insanely expensive.

This should probably be changed then. I can't see any reason to have warehouses that have already been built, to completely prevent any further building construction in a region. The cost of buildings was already decently balanced, and will only be thrown off since you now NEED to have warehouses in your region (if at least only 1 or 2) but they are insanely expensive to your region.
you could have it based on number of each building, rather the number of all buildings (RC excluded)
... afterall, you are trying to nudge people to build multiple of each anyway... (for redundancy)

Well they were not cheap either, but I think overall balanced. Building the 6th (or 5th) warehouse to allow a storage capacity of 3000 bushels in Muspelheim costed something close to 2000 gold. Building another one would have been around 2600.
Unfortunately busto is far from his city and I can't give feedback for the building numbers right now.
I guess the easiest solution is to keep track of the number of building and granaries separately for the purpose of determining the prices of buildings and granaries respectively.
Building costs have been updated, see the announcement.
I really just forgot that granaries would count in there and boost the costs. Sorry.
But I want things to cost more than level 5 walls =)
