I think this forum could use a subforum for discussion of forming various backstories cannon to the Battlemaster Universe. Obviously there is already a wiki, but at times people get into disagreements on the wiki over what the backstory should be, and of course there's certain elements of the cannon that are determined by developers. Then there are other issues like unexplained ideas (like how sea travel works, who controls it whether or not navies exist) which could have backstories established.
One good thing about a subforum like this is it would give players more potential for input besides just feature requests and in character actions.

It is absolutely intentional that there is no "canon" backstory. Just like real history, there are often conflicting versions of the story on places like the wiki or being thrown around in-game. And that's perfectly fine, and I think it adds to the depth of BattleMaster compared to things have one "true" storyline.
I think you misunderstood. I'm just suggesting there be a sub forum for discussion of said backstory, not that the forum should establish a complete single history.
But it will. People will point to it and say "that's how it happened".
Create an academic/history/folklore religion/guild somewhere dedicated to, IC, discovering the stories of the past and "how things came to be."
The beauty of battlemaster is that there is no story set in stone. If you want history there is 10 years worth in real world time, things that actually happened in game. Theres really no need to make up more that pre-dates that, but if you really must know there should be some spell master people still hanging around that can give some background of each of those older realms that have been around forever. The newer realms already have all of there history established in game.
Create a history page on the wiki and start linking to all the newspapers, dead realm pages, etc.
