Concept: Exactly like a region description but for your army. The description can be seen in whatever region the army is based in.
Benefits: more flavor some roleplay potential
Possible exploits: none I can think of
I like this, but only showing this description in the home base seems rather useless. Any Lord can already add this to his region description (though there is the rule that these can't be too variable), no?
Maybe show it as hovertext when you hold the mouse over the army flag?
A very brief description (or motto) could be given when hovering on the flag.
But a more detailed description can be placed with the army page; accessible only to knights in the army, and/or under the list armies in the command section; accessible only to lords. I think I would suggest for it to be in both locations. For the lords to decide how they want their knights to serve, and for the knights to know the details of their army when they are in it.

Most realms I know simply put this in the General Bulletin.
an army description page is actually a good idea. I like it. It should be created and maintained by the sponsor. Possibly a "public" and a "private" summary, as well.
