- No battles for a couple of turns now
The local people enjoy the low tax rate.
With food distribution at double its normal level, the population is very pleased.
The Lord Archon's presence raises morale and loyalty.

Only complaint is that I'm not in the same religion as the majority. Every single turn, the population drops.
Ah, recruitment centers are probably a part of it. How does one balance building up the population with the need for soldiers?
What percent (roughly) is your population at?
Crawling (39%/114% by pop)
Been stuck like this for ages, although "by pop" has gone up slightly.

Oh, well; I meant the actual population, but this indicates that's somewhere around 40% too.
And the messages at turn don't talk about anyone leaving the region, it just shows the population dropping? If that's the case, then it probably is the RCs, and the only current ways to prevent them from draining your population are to let them sit full, or to reduce their size or close them down.
It might be worthwhile to add an option to temporarily disable recruitment into a given center.
That was going to be my next question; I got lucky with some very nice ones, but there doesn't seem to be any option except tear them down.
Great topic, did not know this at all.
I dunno - my population is in freefall, even when there are only tiny little groups of (still un-huntable due to instant rallying) attacking and being overwhelmed & fleeing in panic.
I'm at 26%/77% now, down over 500 pop. with no one seeming to be taking any of my recruits. They've been on double rations since we took the fortress.
