good to see im #17 but how did some get more than 20k

You can get over 20k relatively easily. Get your character killed as a hero. You will collect gold from his or her dead body and go over the limit.

if the richest families spent their fam gold they wouldn't be the richest families anymore.

Meh, I keep spending the family gold but keep hovering around that topt. It's more often that one or 2 chars support the family where another claims it. Then when situations changes, the guy who gives/takes often changes also :p
