Whats up with the new theme?  It hurts my eyes.

I am not a huge fan of it compared to the old theme... However, the re-addition of the distinct 'New' icons next to topics with new posts is a huge improvement over the initial roll out. This morning I was about ready to pluck out my eyes...

Given the very light color of the background, I would suggest changing the color of all fonts to straight black. The blue isn't quite dark enough on this background if you ask me.

minimalistic visual style which is much related to background is something i always considered quality of bm.

this is different game with these rose decorations... together with all these added tabs and menus, it is coming to the point that all atmosphere will disappear to me  :-\

Uh, what? Are you still on the other theme? You should have a very minimal dark theme on the forum now.

Looks great :)

When I use "Show unread posts", the abundancy of [New] icons is slightly disturbing, though.

it seems i messed this subject with new decorative colors within bm... ::)
