The player of the Ironsun family contacted me that he lost his password for the Forums. He tried to use the password-reminder, but when using the link provided in the email he was sent to the BM Forum's main page with no option to change his password. Since he cannot log in to the Forums, I told him I would ask help here for him.
His username on the Forums is Jazzkovsky (http://forum.battlemaster.org/index.php?action=profile;u=261). Could his password be manually changed so he can log in to his account? He should be able to change his password then again to whatever he wants.
Thanks in advance.

I suggest that you have him send am e-mail to Tom (tom@lemuria.org) from the e-mail address he has registered with the forum, and include an explanation of the problem.

Alright, I'll tell him that then :)

FWIW - Tom is the only one with full admin powers on the forum. He's the only one with the ability to deal with account issues. The rest of us forum mods can issue warnings, mod posts, etc., but have no control at all over accounts.

Thanks, Telrunya and Indirik! Now I'm finally able to join the Spellmaster 3 test :-)) :D

I'm glad you made it back to the forum.

eh.. has core been disabled yet? (for the forum) if it's not gone, no one should know their forum pw? because it was all done via core?
i'm trying to figure out how to change my pw.. but since i don't know what my pw is, i can't change it, i don't think.

From the login page, use the "Send a reminder" function. (Or whatever it's called.) It will send you a new password via e-mail. Use that to login/change your password.
