Title: Honour or Prestige for duelling someone?
Post by: Zakilevo on February 02, 2012, 05:32:06 AM
How about people gain honour or prestige for doing a death duel? Any thoughts?

You get a fame point.

You can get two fame points. One for winning, one for losing.  ;D

Pretty sure you have to die for it to happen.

If you survive a death duel, you haven't really lost, have you?

Do you get a fame point for every Death Duel you do?

all fame points are one-shot. Now, there are separate fame points for "hero death" and "legendary hero death", but those are not the same thing. i actually got the legendary, I still need the regular hero point--which is slightly annoying, I apparently need to avoid prestige and honor gains in order to get the point, ha.

Is it like that, or is it that if your second hero dies, you get the hero death point, regardless of whether or not he/she was legendary?

I'm pretty sure the code is something like this:
if dead hero fame >= 150, then award legendary fame point if not previously earned
if dead hero fame < 150, then award hero fame point if not previously earned

(where 150 may  not be the cutoff)

If you get legendary hero fame first, then your second hero death will get you the regular hero death fame, regardless of whether or not your second hero was legendary. You don't need to try and make a non-legendary die in order to get the fame point.

Oh you points when your hero dies? I thought to become a legendary hero, you just need to survive for a year.

Not unless they changed that. I had a hero die and become legendary, with little over 30/10 H/P to her name. Granted, that was back in... 2006-2007 or something
