Title: character limits

I just restarted and with all the new changes I was wondering what it takes to get more characters. more specific how do I get 3 nobles instead of the third character being a addy?

You need to get 5 family fame points to play 3 nobles.

Thanks that is exactly what I was looking for.

After I reach that I will go for 4 characters

You will need 20 fame points for that. Or you can simply donate  ;)

I may have to donate to get that then at least for a while.

But I will be a fame whore for a while too.

I have the gold to get both family wealth pts put away (2)
I will be a lord soon (1)
I will create a guild of some sort (2)

Once I do that then I should be able to pause my addy and start a new noble....  :)

then
Family Investment (1)
Family Prestige 20 (1)
Prestige 10 (1)

From there I do not know what will happen, but it is a start right.   lol
