Hello everyone.
I'm looking to possibly make a new character either on East Island or the Far East. My very first character on this account was made in Perdan ages ago, and in 06 on a previous account I had a character in either Itorunt or Ibladesh, I can't really remember.
So, I'd like to hear reasons why I should make a character on East Island, and what realm I should join. Any realm interested in having a Silverfire come aboard? (Feel free to pitch your own realms and let the in game biases show through)

if you are looking for a decent war, join Westmoore, or Nivemus.
Armonia and Eponlyn can also become intresting perhaps.
But the most possible diretc front will be Nivemus Westmoor and to a lesser extend Sirion.
Perosnally i find that EC used to be extremely cool, but now, in generall it really sucks.
Don't know how the Far east looks like these days.

EC is pretty boring. My character spends all his time attending tourneys.

Westmoore seems the most likely place for action. Can't say much about the realm itself, since I'm bumming around in Perdan. I'd love to have a Silverfire in the realm, after hearing of Brom, but Perdan is fit to bursting already.

I wouldn't advise to join EC at this point, though from the things I hear, everybody is about to go to war. They may as well be talking sweet lies into my ear though.

Let's see... you are telling to new players to avoid EC because we are going to war in a game called Battlemaster? Strange concept.

That's not the reason. The reason is I'm not even sure people will be going to war although they say so. Besides Silverfire isn't exactly what I would call a new player. 8)

I also heard rumours. I'm pretty sure they're true.
I also heard rumors about how long the powers-that-be think they need to "prepare" before actually doing it.

It seems everyone is listening the "rumors. Some people actually already know the treaties and everything about OOC even before we take care of it IC ;)

Don't hold up an entire continent because your character's unit is not yet fully trained!

I can recruit in a day... they (the soldiers) don't need to be well trained. With about 400 honor I can recruict much more than 1k CS. The Silver Legion (my army) is ready as well. Erik is a war lover, but in Sirion sometimes we have a lazy Council. Old people full of worries about the future...

As I said, we are preparing ourselves to fight. I'm just avoiding to give too much OOC details that can be used in game by poor players.

I'm still curiou about Atanamir leading Perdan. He was the worse General I saw and he lead Sirion to the most shameful defeat at the great war. As I said, I'm ready...

Its easy to go to war with your allies. Why are you asking permission to go to war with them? Just declare war on them and get it going.

You can plan ahead as far as you want, but as soon as war is declared your continuity of operations counts for nothing.

+1. Stop being whimps and declare war already. Everybody agrees this damn continent can use some conflict. Don't pretend like you can prepare for war, because at the same time, so are your enemies.

We will never start a war based in the opinion of a couple of people rushing in the Forum. Then, don't waste your time trying to say what we must do.

Preparations are being made and the war will come... that doesn't mean we'll do that tomorrow, mainly because of external pressure.

So, as you can see, for me, nothing is decided until Sirion works out a few things. It's not about being wimpy or whatever, it is about what I can get for my realm, or rather, what Sirion wants to cheat my realm out of.

For battle, look no further than Sirion, Nivemus, Perdan and Westmoor. They are all at war.

Yes those 4 realms are at war.
But Nivemus soon will be crowded as they are losing half of their regions.
And in Sirion are elves.
Perdan or Westmoor is the way to go. ;)

Nivemus could use a good troop leader! Also, as it is the youngest realm of the four, it also has less of an oligarchy at the top as some of the other realms may have.

Screw Nivemus. Come to Sirion. Although Nivemus is Sirion's ally they are not as rich as Sirion. Might as well join the richest realm on the continent ;)

I wonder where the space for new nobles will be?!
Come to Perdan, we may be not as rich as Sirion, but we have the best recruitment centers and the most dedicated armies to put them to good use! And we are not elves! :D

True, Nivemus has and will be on the losing side of things (for now), But, even after a week of myself being disconnected due to the issues before getting back, a lot of nobles have not returned still.
