Title: Deleted or inactivity?
Post by: Velax on September 05, 2013, 08:09:08 AM
In Arcaea we just received these messages:

Quote
Noble has left   (7 minutes ago)
Jenred Bedwyr, Royal of Arcaea has left the game (auto-removed due to inactivity).

Noble has left   (7 minutes ago)
Lucator Bedwyr, Noble has left the game (auto-removed due to inactivity).

Noble Deleted   (6 minutes ago)
message to all nobles of Arcaea
Matthew Runyon, the player of Jenred Bedwyr, has deleted him.

Noble Deleted   (5 minutes ago)
message to all nobles of Arcaea
Matthew Runyon, the player of Lucator Bedwyr, has deleted him.

So did Matt delete the characters, or were they deleted due to inactivity?

All the characters on his account have been deleted. Probably due to inactivity. It appears that the deletion messages has some bugs. It also did not put an entry for the character into the family graveyard, nor an entry for the deletion into the family history.

Something similar happened on BT when four people emigrated. We got the same "...has deleted his character..." message.

Noble has left   (14 days, 17 hours ago)
Zilong Liew, Noble was seen in Perdan, boarding a ship to Dwilight.

Noble Pauses   (14 days, 4 hours ago)
message to all nobles of Perdan
Jiakun Liu, the player of Zilong Liew, has deleted him.

I got this message when the player immigrated to Dwilight, and i confirmed that he was present in dwilight.
I also reported it as a bug on the bugtracker.

Yeah, this is due to some changes I made to the character deletion process. I need to get in there and make sure that the "Noble Deleted" message only actually shows up when the player does, in fact, delete the character.
