How did all this happen? First the secession of Haul, and White Towers becoming an independent kingdom Sun'Sera, and now the Civil War of Cathay. :'(
-
From where I sit (an inarguably biased position), this happened because Cathay let Moses and his cronies in.
-
Well, let them in and then were silly enough to give them multiple positions of power.
-
Hmmm.......so does Arcaea support this Civil War?

No, because it threatens their crony who currently sits on the Cathayan throne.
-
Is this Civil War expected to last?

Is this Civil War expected to last?
Probably not. Stephanie Greyson is extremely unpopular, and I foresee this rebellion ending badly for her.

Where for "crony," read "person who was willing to surrender in the face of an obviously militarily superior foe."
As opposed to "nutcase who thinks that fighting TO THE DEATH!!!!!11!!! is more important than anything else."

Where "person who was willing to surrender in the face of an obviously militarily superior foe" means "individual who was employed by the Empire to undermine Cathay's participation in the war effort, thereby ceding military superiority to the foe." as opposed to "person who actually fought, lost and surrendered."

You're free to believe that if you want.

You're free to believe that if you want.
As you are to believe the opposite.

The beauty/tragedy of our age is that no one ever has to admit that anyone other than themselves knows anything of value.

Your statement has no value.

How is that unique to our age? That's been true for a long time...
