Title: Gold on our characters

what is going to happen to all the gold currently on our characters? I'd like for it to go to the family.

Nope. Reset.

EDIT: I would stress that all resources on War Island be used to achieve victory. Otherwise, they will be lost. Family wealth has been/may continue to be rewarded, not from gold on hand, but from some independent basis.
