I have had a problem trying to find a peasant trust worthy enough to hand my unique item to, to find a NPC for repairs. It got me wondering that if their could be an added NPC for nobles to take their Unique items to in a capital city. I understand that it's done that it has always been done that for a reason but I can't see what the reason is?
I'm not sure of the game mechanics behind it but a specialist NPC in unique items for nobles to visit would be an awesome upgrade.

I found a trustworthy advy for myself. Got my items fixed too. They are not too rare if you can find an advy guild that has enough advies in it.

Promise 100 gold, don't deliver it. Threaten them if they protest. ;D

I honestly don't know how to pay peasants...like I wouldn't know where to begin hahah :-[

Or make friends with your realms Judge, pay the 100 gold, then have a friend arrest them and send them off to the judge, who can divest them of the money. ;)

Exactly. You get to steal unique items too but if you fail you lose a lot so be prepared.
