Hi Folks,
I was not sure where to place this exactly, so I apologize if it does not belong here, but I am inquiring as to the status of a new banner we uploaded some weeks ago and wanted to get an idea of what the approval process was for new banners and icons in general.

Looks like somewhere along the line, the notification of a new uploaded banner got lost.
...You should have gotten a rejection notice just now, because that banner was bloody enormous. And the icon was the same as the banner.

Idk if I ever got said message, seems like something I wouldn't have missed. So I should just resize and resubmit?

Yes. The size guidelines are on the banner upload page.
And please make quite certain that the file names of the banner and the icon are different, so that one isn't overwriting the other.

That took longer than expected but we sent a new set over that should be a match

Since there was only one in the list of uploaded banners, I presume I just approved it, then.
