Sup, been trying to login and use the forgot password system and nothing has worked at all. Have checked all my email accounts and never got an email about deletion, any ideas?

If it's been more than 3 months, then yes, your account was deleted. Sorry.
We've got some changes in the works that would allow players who have been in the game for more than a certain amount of time to keep their accounts even after being inactive for a few years, but that's still undergoing testing.

The question is though, where to start... Dwilight is still SMA and calls but I never did get around to trying the other islands!

There's plenty of interesting realms around on almost all continents.
I could advertise to join the realms I in, but I will not (see signature).

Westfold is the cake Astrum is about to finish eating. ;D
That said, it was a realm I respected. If you want to play on Dwilight, and don't want an isolationist realm, I'd recommend sticking to the North. Morek and HD fought not that long ago, Astrum and Westfold are fighting, Avernus and Arnor both occasionally sent troops west and have just recovered from a massive monster onslaught, Westgard is always fighting a ton of monsters non-stop. The North is where stuff happens. Swordfell and Luria Nova might eventually do something, but have kept to words so far, and I wouldn't bet on D'Hara, Fissoa, or Madina to do something noteworthy any time soon.

Ah! Blood Stars still ruling the mega peaceful alliance or did they finally fall? D'Hara, Fissoa and Madina never did anything noteworthy when I was playing so no difference there. LN... meh. Been and done Luria, might play a Lurian Refugee family or something, I must say Westgard sounds interesting, if purely because I can always get behind fighting monsters.

It fell, crumbled from what I gather. Astrum remains a powerhouse, as it had been for a while. But the astroist league is no more, and Sanguis Astroism as an institution does not feel relevant on the continental scale anymore. There was an ugly schism followed by the obliteration of the western realms which probably sealed the deal. I don't think the North-East would really be recognizable to anyone who has been gone for a while, aside from the mere name of Morek, which now houses a micro realm, while the holy founding region of Caiyun was held by randomly self-proclaimed druids for a very long time, until they started a war that turned out poorly for them.
