This is where you can sign up if you're interested in becoming a tester, as described in this thread (http://forum.battlemaster.org/index.php/topic,795.0.html). Please write 1-2 sentences about yourself, such as how long you've been playing BM and why you want to be a tester.

Hi, I'm the fairly verbal player who often brings up controversial topics/views on the forums. I've been playing since September of 2007, and I'd like to poke around any potential changes to see how they might affect the game, as someone who is pretty adamant about having features that actually complement effective cooperative strategy.

I would love to be a tester for two reasons. First, I love BM, and I want to give back to the game. Second, I'd love to have a look at new features and have input.
I've been playing for almost 4 years and have played every class and just about every position (I was Duke for about 3 days, so I don't count that as much). I currently play on 4 different continents.

Been playing for over six years now. I've always been interested in becoming a tester, so I can get a greater sense of contribution to a game that has quite literally changed my life :)

9 Years in the game I would like to assist with testing, its probably time i gave something back. I have held most positions in the realm and have experimented with most all classes at some time in my playing time.

Very new to the game, ~month old, and available if needed.
I do have only two nobles and one adventurer, as that is my current active character limit, dunno if that will be a problem.

Hi, I have been playing since around 2006 (with another family before the one I am playing now which has been around since around 2008 I believe). I love this game and there is nothing else like it around, so I'd love to be able to help further develop this great game which I enjoy so much. I have played in every single position available in the game and currently have a character not in use which could be put to any continent you wanted to have something tested on.

I would like to help test! I have only been playing a couple months, but would consider myself quite active and have focused on issues relevant to new persons in the game in my forum posts. Because I don't have years of experience and am still finding my way, I would like to provide a perspective to the developers on how changes affect new and inexperienced players.

I wouldn't mind helping out. I played 2006-2009 when I burned out but I couldn't stay away forever and have come back. I've done a fair amount of coding/testing/debugging for engineering projects so I feel as though I may be able to provide some insight on both the user and technical sides. Besides, I'm always looking for ways to give back to worthy projects like this.
Drawbacks include being FAR too comfortable and familiar with the current interface, being on east-coast usa time, and a drastically variable level of time commitment.

Having done this before, I volunteer my services. I've played on and off since 2003, contributed at different levels, and generally not been shy about sharing my opinion. Why test? Because it's helping the devs, who keep helping us.

I would like to contribute as a tester. Been playing since April '07. I tested the War Islands and the Dream, and it seems to me like this is a great way to pay the game back for hours (days? weeks? months?) of amusement, especially since I cannot donate.

Thanks everyone. This is a much bigger turnout than I expected, and more than I need at this time.
I have picked a couple testers, partly at random partly because I liked what you wrote. I'd like to be especially clear that not being picked doesn't mean anything negative, there were simply too many to choose from and I had to pick a few.
Those of you who were picked will notice a new avatar picture, well actually not avatar, there instead of the shields that thing. Also, you will see a new sub-forum called "Testing" under Development. That's where you should go.

Only joined in 2008, but played a lot of text-based games in the past. have had multiple function like forum admin, translator, etc for text-based games. currently learning Software Engineering & Game Design.

Hi, I have been playing the game since 2006 ... has it been that long?
Anyway, I am an IT professional with lots of experience in software development and testing ... maybe I could help? My chars are getting a bit long in the tooth now and tend to just stick to region maintenance with the occasional big battle.
They can do with a change!

I played from 2007-2009 and have been back since Christmas last year. I love playing BM, have rarely ever missed a turn, and would very much enjoy contributing as a tester.
