Does anyone know what Rope is used for? It's been years and I don't think i've ever actually seen rope be used for anything other than sages.

So there's an actual use then? I've only ever seen some sages require rope and other stuff for upgrades and item creations. What about the ancient documents? Do those have a use yet?

Nah, I don't think there's a use coded for rope yet. But as Sam Gamgee would tell you, if you're off on an adventure, you know you'll be wanting rope.
Ancient documents were implemented recently.

Maybe putting a noble in the oubliette is the only way they could be tortured? And either a limit of how many would be there or prestige/honor drops?
