No wonder it was so hard to find That option doesn't exist. The other rulers just said you had to be in your capital and it's somewhere under Politics.

Thanks I did change the election system and rename my realm. It would have been nice to actually change the government completely, but that's alright. Thank you for the help everyone!

I'm a new Ruler, and I tried to create a new Duchy today, but when I selected everything and hit create, all I got was a black empty screen. Is there a bug for it now, or am I missing something?

If it's any help, you may need a while for that slot to open up. As I remember, mine took almost a week, but I didn't really notice cause my advy hadn't gotten his third recommendation. You may need to be patient a while.

Okay, I have a problem. My character limits are:

7 characters total, 4 active at the same time, 3 of those can be nobles

At the moment, I have three nobles, excluding my character on SI. But the only option for character creation I have is to create a noble, and when I click that, I get a message, correctly saying I have the max amount of nobles I'm allowed for now. But why isn't there an option for creating an advy?


EDIT: Found the problem, sorry. I actually had three old characters who are still scheduled for deletion, so they made up the active character limit I have. I'll be able to make an advy once they're gone I think.

So I recently managed to raise five medals, and I was wondering, how many do I need to get a new active character slot? The wiki says five, but that seems outdated I guess, cause I still haven't got one.

At least in part, yes. Taxes are collected every day at the rate valid that day, so if you raise the tax rate the estimate will immediately use the new tax rate, but the tax collectors don't go out again saying "uh, about the tax from last monday..." - check if your next tax collection is closer to the estimate.

What was your tax rate before and after you raised it? Taxes are collected daily and accumulate in the region until tax day when you receive what was collected.

Yeah, I invested in it about a week before taxes. But doesn't that mean that I should be getting more gold too?

About militia and upkeep, I checked on that too. I have no militia, and the cost for upkeep is 4 gold. The peasant taxes collected in total was 109, when it should have been over 400.

When taxes ran this morning, under my politics tab, the amount of gold that I should have collected was 343. But I only got 84 after taxes. Why is that? I changed the tax rate the morning of the day before taxes were collected, is that the reason? Meaning, I increased it then.
