Funny that Alexandros didn't mention his rants against Tim here on the forums, they were quite public and pretty ugly. See, if I were Tim I could see myself responding to the individual who called me all kinds of things with some degree of hostility as well.

So no, Alex does not get to complain about getting a hostile reaction from Tim. I've known Tim and worked with him closely for over a decade, and he's not easy to piss off...

Uhm. He did what a good King does. These OOC cheaters were ruining the game! I myself would have banned them so others have a good experience. Note that later the titans did lock some of them. Seriously, these guys were ruining our fun. And now Anaris says we should let cheaters play and shut up? If the titans cant handle the workload, then get more titans. Seriously man?

If the Titans, at the time, decide that they have insufficient evidence to act on, it isn't a ruler's place to take matters into his own hands.

So no, he didn't do what a good King does. The Titans are not his personal enforcement branch, and his word alone isn't sufficient evidence to prove multi cheating.

As for the Dobromic incident, don't even go there. Seriously, don't. I don't even know what you people mean by "suspicious", particularly when the characters aren't in your own realm. You can't possibly know login times, you can't possibly know players' motivations, and failing that I'm lost as to what "suspicious behavior" could possibly entail. If you think something if fishy, you report them and the Titans will find the evidence if there is any to be found.

In short, if I were the Ruler of that realm I would tell him to stop, and give him an OOC ban if he didn't. I would encourage all players in an OOC manner to put him on ignore and not interact with him. Let the Titans do what they want to me if they disagree.

As I said before, there are 50,000 different role plays you could do to the same effect, but without risk of real-life offense to people in the game. You've been told this isn't cool by many people here, so show some consideration.

If that came up to the Titans, you can bet your ass that you'd be stripped of your position. You don't get to use OOC tools against people that aren't breaking any rules.

As for the post that you were replying to, I don't know what kind of gamers you people hang out with. I've been active on the internet for over a decade, and while women gamers are the exception I wouldn't consider them a pariah group either. In my experience, men are generally more than happy to have a girl in the group. Quite often, they end up being "one of the guys" as much as the men.

That's the key though. The warm reception changes fast when people expect the group to change to accomodate them. That, however, does not exclusively apply to women either.

I will restate my position on this, no rules were broken. People are free to RP whatever they wish, and no one has a right to never be offended. To anyone who indicated that they would use OOC enforcement tools in cases like this, consider this a warning. OOC harassment is not cool, even if you don't agree with someone's RP.

I don't mean to offend, but that is the impression it gives off.  I have no experience with your other characters, but your character on the SI is a one dimensional misogynist who does nothing but spew anti-woman treatises.  I wonder if the titans would be so lax if it was someone expounding pseudo-Nazi propaganda or a hate for those with "black skin," even with a few sentences of backstory.  It certainly doesn't give a good impression for a game struggling to retain its players and attract new ones.

Any post that starts with that, or any variant of it, needs to not be posted. It's a dishonest opening by definition, because it announces that you are about to do whatever you claim you do not mean to do. Whenever a message starts with that sentence, whatever comes after can't be worth reading. You did mean to offend, and you knew that when you wrote it.

As for the rest, satisfying Godwin's Law in 6 posts isn't something to be proud of.

No one has a right to never be offended, despicable characters are not matters for the Titans. If you disapprove of a character, there is nothing stopping you from standing up to it with equal ferocity. Comparing someone to a Nazi on the forum, however, is never acceptable.

Though Morgan phrased it as a request, it was always meant as an order.

Morgan is rather upset about the speed with which you were arrested, though, and is debating what to do about it.

Sigrun is certainly vengeful, possibly power hungry, and probably oversteps her bounds, but I wouldn't call her corrupt.  Nor would I say that Morgan is afraid to stand up to her. . . .

She did make it explicitly clear that she intended to arrest him if he refused to attend his trial.

What happened wasn't picking up a convicted criminal, it was arresting a suspect who refused to stand trial. It is quite standard in any country I know of to arrest the accused first, and then put them on trial.

Vengeful? Sure, I'll concede vengeful, that trait runs in the family. Old Quinn's held grudges for decades, and Drystan isn't a whole lot nicer. Sigrún hasn't had time to develop grudges yet, but some people are getting there.

But corrupt? No, I fail to see corrupt, and I find the suggestion to be absurd.

Now, I normally don't check these forums much, but some of this stuff is getting too absurd to stay silent.

The tribunal is deliberating to reach a verdict, there was never going to be a closing defense.

As for why we bothered with this drawn out affair, I've wondered the same thing. I believe it has something to do with some people complaining that I couldn't just order a Duke arrested simply because I had seen him commit the crime myself. I mean, pah, since when has the truth ever had anything to do with guilt or innocence.

Please, pretty please, drop the charade. Every day you've had since the auto da fe was on borrowed time as you know. The only reason I suggested the idea of a tribunal was because I thought it might be fun. Instead, it turned into an endless troll-parade from three characters who are very fond of acting hurt when anybody calls them on their transparent lies and who keep insisting that a Judge who's been elected twice with a massive majority in the elections must be horribly, abominably corrupt.

Of course Sigrún had you arrested. What did you think was going to happen? She was quite clear, you were going to face the verdict whether you wanted to or not. She's been tired of the shenanigans for a while now, and she's also quite aware that priests are slippery little bastards who can be half way to Masahakon by the time the guard realises he's gone. As for the intended sentence, she did mention that at the beginning of the tribunal. The charge is a capital crime.
