I enjoyed playing with Krypton the Bold. I can´t Remember the name of the family.

All the Daggers were really special too, being Sordnaz the special one.

From your family page, click the Options link. Look for the option: "Default news filter: " Set it to "No OOC Messages". Then when you check your messages, you will have to explicitly click the "All messages" or OOC options to actually see them. I've had my filter set this way forever.

Note that OOC messages will still trip the new messages waiting notifications, though.

The filter at the top can give you a lists of received messages without the OOC messages. That'll be about $3.50, thank you.

I will tell you the thing is bothering me since the TMinus 28 days, and it isn´t the ice, the sinking of any Island, the huge Undead/Monsters hordes...

The worst thing are the players. I have just paused a character due to the lot of grey messages received every day. It is sad to see how some players are using the realm´s channel as a chat.

I do not like to see my Realm, Region or Estate dissapearing due to OOc Reasons, but to send OOc messages every hour is not a solution, IMO, it is only a way to kill the game.

I would pay for a "ignore OOC messages" option.

Bartho was the one who, incidentally, arranged the war with Caergoth OOC.  That was confirmed after the CE war started and discussions were had on what prompted the Caergoth/Carelia war in the first place.  What makes that particularly asinine is that there were plenty of good IC reasons for it...They just chose not to use them.

Caergoth declared war on Carelia, I think.

All orders must be passed IG/IC. You can't punish someone IG for things done OOG, or for not doing things IG that are discussed OOG, etc., etc.

I disagree, because according to that, you can organizate a rebellion OOG, and joining the underground at the same time. 20 nobles joining the underground, being at the capital and starting a rebellion at the same time is not fair play, in my opinion. The ruler would go mad, because he checked the underground a few hours before, because there were a lot of untrusted nobles sitting and rallyiing in the capital, but "nobody" was there.

I am against OOG talkings about strategies, because you will use them IG. I could arrest and torture the Generl of my enemies, but I couldn´t find any kind of information with him, except for the orders he gave to the MArshals... but .... he talked with the MArshals about the plans for tmorrow ( OOG obviously ) because the player behind the General will use that OOG conversation IG.

Ibladesh lost the war signing the peace with Perdan, and creating DoA but not supporting them. Ibladesh only fought a big battle ( If I remember well ) against Perdan beside of DoA, and won it. Ibladesh was winning in the East too, and could enter Caligus deeper than they did.

I still remember the message I sent to the General of Ibladesh ( I don´t remember the name ) telling him that we should loot the rich regions of Perdan ( Partora, Perdan Mines, Bescanon ... because I realized that their army were increasing its strenght day by day, then, a few huge battles, and Ibladesh defeated in all of them, and finally, the successful attack on Semall ... the beginning of the end.

We have never sold food to the Zuma, only to D'Hara so far. As I said, constant investments. Not by the same character, but by multiple characters every so often

There isn´t any region with "Booming" production right now. Also, investments are able to raise the production to 200, perhaps 250%, during two or three days. A noble would receive 100, 125 gold coins instead 50.

You need about 60-70 gold coins to maintain a unit of 700-800 cs every week, plus repairs, but most of the gold would be used recruiting... will fall the numbers of the Army of Aurvandil sooner or later?

To be honest you are over estimating how much land Coria can even support. The reason Hammarsett was founded in the first place was because we could not support a new Duchy. We had first dibs on that land but opted to aid a new colony instead. Ironically, I very much doubt our two realms will ever grow in harmony ;) But that's beside the point. Having had the option of taking Shanandoah just a month or so earlier, why would we ever demand Barad Lacirith from Eston!? It makes no sense.

I really doubt that Hammarsett was founded because Coria would be unable to support a new duchy... From the point of view of Regulus, Hammarsett would be founded even without the support of Coria.

And you'd know this how? We sent an offer of peace before the Northern and Southern realms became involved in the conflict. That's how you all know we asked for Nazamroth because that's what we had asked for in the terms of peace with Eston! To find out later that other people had spread lies about us wishing to take the Duchy of Barad Lacirith were utter fabrications.

So sending a peace offer, whilst we were winning, with the loss of a single region for a multi-region realm like Eston is destroying their realm how?

Are you saying that Coria requested Nazamroth to Eston before the start of the hotilities, only Nazamroth?

How would we be sacking Cagilan cities if we had destroyed Coria? Have you seen a map of Atamara?

The irony of fate ... that was their plan for Eston  ;)

I was not part of the Althing on those days, since my char was new and I wasn´t a lord yet, but from what I can remember, we were informed about was that MI had broken the treaty refusing to hand over the region, and not improving relations.  And the guardians of the treaty weren´t going to do ANYTHING to fix that, so either we realized we were never getting Mansbridge and let it be, since MI wouldn´t handle it and the guardians wouldn´t do anything, or we attacked and performed a TO on the region.

That´s why we ended up voting for peace. I believe if there was a plan to wait for the treaty to expire and then attack we would have waited, improved our regions and army.

There was a plan, and Xaphan knew it, but he attacked Mansbridge anyway. Thats why Regulus hates Xaphan. Xaphan is, in the eyes of Regulus, responsible for the destruction of Norland.

Norland was a funny-hyper active Realm, a lot of people wants to "create" Norland again, but it is impossible, in my opinion.

I was lucky, because I think that I had one character ( even two ) there during the gold days of Norland, and trust me when I tell you that, sometimes .. a lot of times, I cried of laughter reading the news of that mad realm.

But as I said, I think that is impossible to create "Norland" again, and an error. Too much people wants that Realm destroyed. Al we can do ( the former Norlanders ) is to try to bring some fun to the game in Norland costume... ARF!

But Norland means sad things for me too, as player. Those days were my gold days too, and Regulus´ is unable to be the same "viking" now. Also, I failed to create another character with "personality".

About the last days of Norland... I must admit that those were the worst days for me as BM player ( except for those days when some characters were killed or deleted ). Due to a twist of fate... Regulus the Norlander had to make a hard decission, a really hard decission... the fate of Norland was in his hands... when he was the Ruler of other Realm. I realized ( OOC ), in that momment, the difference between the point of view of the things when you are in Norland, and when you are in another Realm, even when you are a former Norlander.

They decided to die fighting, and they died fighting.

There is no 'current' treaty. The only official agreement is the one we have with Eston. The only treaty we have with the Northern Federation is an unofficial spoken one as they are not prepared to sign peace. That being said, Saeculo intends to honour it as best he can.

Hammarsett has sent an offer days ago,without requests. The diplomatic relation between Hammarsett and Coria could have changed from war to neutral two days ago.

If there was ANY objective at all, it WAS to secure access to the Cagilan Empire. This was done, and is done.

Looking at the map, and taking in consideration the position and situation of Coria when the treaty was signed, the treaty is a failure for the norther realms.

Everything changes if we add that Eston ( Kerwin ) wants to start a friendly relation with Coria, it is a good treaty for that, limited military access and peace between both Realms. Regulus wouldn´t be surprised if Coria and Eston sign an alliance in the near future... but here is the main problem, Eston signed a good treaty thinking in her interests ... but not good enough for her allies.
