Development / sinking or freezing

Has it been decided as yet if an island is going to be sunk or frozen.  I have searched the forum and found now answer to my questions.

  • What island will it be?
  • When will it happen

Magistrates Case Archive / Re: Call for Volunteers

Tom,

If you are still looking for volunteers to become a magistrate. I would like to volunteer my services.

I have played BM for well over 7 years and have a good grasp of it.  I am fair. I am dedicated and very active in the community. I have a working knowledge of the courtroom and roberts rules of order. I have been part of legal proceeding both as the defendant and the plaintiff.  I was instrumental (at least I think I was) with the clan case in Fontan. This is my second account; I left BM for personal reason for about 6 months or so and restarted a new account as I had deleted my first account.  But in general I have played BM ever since matt hetland introduced me to the game years ago.

I feel I would make a good Magistrate for the following reason:

1. I love BM
2. I am an active player
3. I hate cheaters
4. I am honest and trustworthy
5. I have a desire to take on responsibility for BM

I do have experience being a moderator in another game called Visual Utopia.

here is the ling to my Family page   http://battlemaster.org/UserDetails.php?ID=31175

Let me expand on my qualifications.

I am Guide and Moderator of another game called Visual-Utopia

And I wanted to let you know that I am still interested

I am not sure if the turn change happened in Dwilight or not.. My characters didnt get any hours, but I could scout again after using up all my scouts last turn.

Nothing happened in Morek either. no one got hours, TO did not populate or whatever it does. nothing happen at all.

Sea trip from Aegir's Deep to Chesland uses exactly 100% of provisions and takes 4 real time days without starving troops perfectly.

but there is no margin for error in travel. must move on time or will run out of provisions.

I love the new sea routes. It will make war so much more real.

How are they getting back?

The same way they got there I assume.

I doubt there will be many battles. I can't even imagine how much gold the SA nobles are paying to get to Aurvandil and then how long it'll take for them to get home again.

Well with the new sea routes it only takes 4 days travel for morek to get there. so just over a week for a refit if everyone moves when they are supposed to. so not too bad and the kcost is minimal (about the same as coming from astrum on the old sea routes)

I would imagine that astrum could get there in 2 1/2 days so they would have less than a week refit time (faster than the old sea routes)

I expect to see battles on par with the original war islands.
