Sirion geography make for interesting holding position. From Fontan side, I only ever remember a raiding party sent to Sirion northern lands looting as we went and avoid the Sirion army sent to hunt us.

So in the meantime everyone want form their own alliances eh? Northern Alliance, Central Alliance, Southern Alliance. Then we all war again? Interesting ;D

Which realms would make up these alliances?

Anyone have any thoughts on what the next wars to break out will be? It seems we reached a new holding pattern here.

Yeah, I know. Don't think I haven't taken a look at the nobles per region ratios...

OI just needs a few active players to give OI a spark that would make some players come there. Players who go to realms for reasons other than power. I am not sure how much RP OI does, but I am sure more could be incorporated.

Yes we need a lot more RP, I have tried to spark some but it seems to end in failure mostly.

Ah, yes. Yes, I feel for OI, but I do not think we should just make a couple new regions to help their realm out. While OI does have a hard lot in life so far, I think OI is closer than ever to becoming a realm very relevant in EC politics. We will see how it works out.

Please don't tell me your thinking this just because OI holds the Omsk Peninsula. The city and two regions are nice but not enough, the main problem, believe it or not, is not the regions but the lack of nobles. OI could be a strong realm, not strong like Perdan or Sirion but have enough to compete with some of the other realms if there was more nobles around to put into the army.

Yeah, it would be extremely tough for them to hold onto Nivemus lands. The Omsk Bay kind of makes that a very difficult task.

Personally, I think OI should give Perdan Bastad Island and put militia down in Chaos Stronghold. Consolidate their territory. Then think about moving more onto the mainland.

Before we took a hold on the mainland we discussed this, both in realm and with Perdan, it is something that both Perdan was not interested in and something we couldn't readily give up as it doesn't change how far new regions are from Kalmar.

It'll take us a while to get going.  The regions we're claiming (ashes of Fontan) are pretty much useless as of now =P

It doesn't take much to pass OI in the rankings.

With a new realm called Dunnera created, any idea what happen to our list of realm rankings? ::)

Since they are brand new and need time to organize/grow they start at the bottom. Next month isn't far away though, I would expect to see them rise up.

Darka has like what...five or six times the cs that OI does? And that would be on Darka's worst day and OI's best.

It's sort of funny, considering volcanic soils are technically great for farming crops typically.  Even if they weren't gold producers, you'd think they'd at least have a few rurals.

If any more islands are added (which I would personally like to see), I'd hope that the Obsidian Islands are improved somewhat.  They definately have the short end of the stick atm.

I brought up both of these arguements to Tom several times, he doesn't care to hear it so I gave up years ago.

Oh, I don't blame Squall at all. I blame Diana. I was against letting Wudenkin join us at the time though, even if I hadn't yet predicted exactly what was going to happen. The way I saw it, we were transforming a solid ally on our flank into a power vacuum that we would have no choice but to try to fill. We failed, and ended up with an enemy sitting where an ally used to be.

Ah ok now I understand your point, thank you for explaining. I didn't think of that, and makes me wish even more that I went with my second choice. Oh well though, can't change the past, all we can really do is keep working towards our future goals. I know it's going to be very interesting to see how Beluaterra develops, and how politics change.

11 is an online as is 14, offline also has 10 2, 12, 13, 13 2 as well as 1-7 all being rereleased on ds/gba/pc and several spinoff games but there probably wont be anymore ever. So yeah.

IC, no one really has anyway to know that however.  It simply makes sense to put some of the blame on you.  What with you still being around. :P

lol classic...and even tho it's against me I still can't help but agree. Two parties involved, only one is left to put blame on, makes sense.

Squall discussed things with Diana in great detail, I had a secondary plan in place but Diana assured me that it was safe for Wudenkin and other regions to join Fronen, and she would handle explaining the situation to the other realms. To hold Squall accountable for Diana not speaking to the other rulers and preparing properly like she said she was is just wrong. If Squall had any inclination that things would go the way they did then the secondary plan would have been put into action instead. Plus these posts obviously have a lot of 20/20 hindsight lol, if I could go back I would have made a different choice, esp knowing how poorly Diana handled the whole thing.

Squall had two choices, take his duchy to Fronen (or OG/Sint I guess where also options), or watch as the nobles who created Nothoi take most of the regions and watch his city starve and be taken.
