Thank you all for the feedback and the test-gaming. I collected a lot of ideas and information. I think for the moment we will pause and will do a bit of re-designing and then we start another test or continue.

Wait. Immortals need to materialize every time they appear? So does that mean immortals don't actually have any physical form until they spend a prime to materialize?

That is a bit your choice, but if your character is always physical, like any creation, you need 1 prime to introduce him into a story.

What costs prime is:

* creating things
* permanently altering creations (adding or removing attributes)
* adding existing creatings into a story (1 prime)
* magic

Everything else is for free.

When it comes to immortals, you can add yourself to the story ("materialize") for 1 prime and then do whatever is normal for you to do. So a fire-being could set things on fire.

No, only creating things and magical effects cost prime. Also, introducing a creating into a story (one prime at the moment, regardless of their creation cost).

To jump-start the game a little more, I am adding Prime Sources that you can discover in your stories by simply writing about them:

  • deep in the Lakewood forest
  • near the crater lake of The Iron Kettle
  • at the waterfall where White Rush leaves the Central Mountains
  • on one of the islands in the Keahi Archipelago

Yes, this could be really great. My main issue, as always, is time.

I'm pressing on finishing Black Forest, to free up some resources (and maybe even make a little money) to support the Legends development. I realize it really needs at least a simple client for a proper test.

Unfortunately, Symfony [email protected]#$ed up their rapid prototyping concept with Flex in favor of cleaner and better programming practices. That is all nice, but the opposite of what I'd need for a quick test.
