Personally I think it'd be interesting if we started a new theocracy realm on DWI. One that is located in the west and worships the daimons and is allied with the Zuma Coalition and is in direct conflict with SA and ESA.
I mean we've already witnessed the power of the daimons on DWI when Haktoo (Haktu?) took Aletha Kabrinski. It wouldnt be very far fetched for some nobles to interpret this as some sort of divine action.
In exchance for worshipping the daimons, Haktu allows us cities and regions in the West, an alliance with the Zuma, and some but not perfect protection against the monsters and undead.
This would allow the realm to directly challenge other human realms while not worrying as much about rogue forces.

I already found a new realm in D'hara.
After being booted from Morek's generalship and being banned for assassinating a few nobles that were trying to turn Morek into the new Terran.

First you take an interesing war with Arnor and declare peace in order to appease them.
Then you give away a city to Astrum, just cause theres been some controversy over it, even though the majority of your nobles wanted to keep it.
Then you let a bunch of "Terran" nobles hijack your realm (which I'm okay with, keeps stuff interesting) who then launch a rebellion when theyre colony fails and rebel in order to keep a placeholder position for Katrina Dragul.
Lastly you let a duke cecede your CAPITAL city and form their own realm, and then declare an alliance with them.
Talk about trying to keep things status quo and not wanting to fight any wars or contribute to any discussions with other rulers on the continent. Way to continue being the most boring realm in BM.

Yes and no. Ever since Nikita joined the Senate shes been fighting to allow infiltrators in realms and now it seems the general consensus is that yes harboring infiltrators is now legal. However non-Assassin infiltrators will not be afforded the same protections as Assassin infiltrators.

« on: June 04, 2016, 08:50:29 AM »HD is much in the same boat as Morek in terms of martial capability. Which was why first we were attempting to coordinate together against another realm. Seoras had sent a few letters about either food or if they needed combat assistance to Morek before Aegir's Deep was returned. We had sent food while Aletha was still around, but I didn't hear anything after Katrina became ruler. After that fell through, Katrina asked about Taishan. I was going to propose a limited war between Morek-HD over Taishan to give both our realms something to do, but Katrina never replied to my reply, so it never got that far.
Katrina is probably one of the most boring rulers in BM, doesnt talk to the realm, doesnt talk to other rulers, doesnt do anything but sit in 1 spot day in day out. Even with all the excitement going on in Morek right now she has barely said a word.

Katrina after Kabrinski not speaking much either. Now my character trying to *hush hush* start a new Revolution in Morek, we shall see

I've been planning on assasinating Katrina for some time now. I'm glad im not the only one with grand plans.

« on: May 19, 2016, 06:54:19 AM »Morek needs a bigger nudge than HD. I've tried to pursue some balanced conflicts, but either everyone seems to love being alliance chains and considers war evil or I can't get replies back. After all, it gets really discouraging to do anything myself.
I mean look at Swordfell and Westfold. Westfold starts a limited war with a relative challenge for themselves. Swordfell's response? Immediately, 'We are going to destroy you'. Just like joining two other realms against a realm with a single city-region. Morek had lots of potential conflicts with each neighbour, but preferred to just sign alliances with their neighbours instead restoring the old SA alliance powerbloc of Astrum-Morek-Arnor. You offer to support your ally and they just ignore you to trade regions and sign alliances because of this misguided idea that religions should be all allied and never fight each other. Arnor is like Swordfell, always preferring to crush small neighbours and try to build an empire where they have so many regions they can't have enough lords for them.
Dusty and I tried so hard to do something interesting, Once Aletha "died" seems like everyone else in Morek was too scared to do anything.
