Bob alone could probably beat up Caelum.

I think I'd prefer the game focusing on small "units" of peasants resisting individual looting actions (a father defending his home and family as foreigners raid it, perhaps killing a soldier or two), rather than spawning large armies of peasants that'll fight on the battlefield. More realistic and seems better for gameplay.

That's already in the game. You can lose men when looting.

Do peasant mobs lose strength over time the way militia does?

I just realized every ruler in the Southern "bloc" has had a ruler change except for Rio. Funny how the one that lasts the longest is in a democracy.

I would really like to see some kind of EC and AT showdown but combining Dwi, BT, and FEI would be better for the game overall.

Tom did say he thought creating Dwilight was one of his biggest mistakes.

Then perhaps BT should be further shrunk.

When you're the only one running one vote is all you need to win.

I forgot about one part of what I do that is not completely unnecessary, managing food distribution. If you want more food coming out of a region there's no way a banker can set 50% rations.

As for just letting unlorded regions go rogue, they won't do that on their own.

It is unnecessary if you have a good banker. I just get a nice profit from selling hundreds of bushels of food. It's arguably the only way I can make being a trader viable.

I wasn't concerned about the placeholder issue. I was thinking about what I'm doing in Riombara where I switch lordship everyday. It might be considered "switching titles around and using temporary lordships" but NOT placeholding.

What? Switching lordships frequently is against the rules?

Go to BT!

It'd be nice if those in power could click to "propose" a position to someone, which in turn would require him to accept it.

It seems ridiculous to impose a h/p hit when a lord of a shoddy region wants to get appointed to a city lordship and needs to "step down". Forcing people to abandon their estates feels equally overly bureaucratic and adds nothing to gameplay, just frustration.
My point exactly.

No no no.
If I'm not mistaken you can only appoint unlanded knights. That means if a lord wants to switch regions they would have to step down first before they can be appointed. Knights would also have to give up their estate so they can be appointed.
