Just read all of the Guardian Spirits today. I was disappointed it only lasted me a day of reading though. 
For some reason, I had gotten a vibe that the goddess Lorien was really more malicious than what she was made out to be.
The only criticism I would say, is that the ending seemed a bit rushed. Kinda was expecting more action from Derien after his show in Ramyn.
I'm very anxious to read your next long term story. However, I'd really like to see more of the characters from the Guardian Spirit.

Its been a long time since someone has replied here. However, there has been updates to Dwarf Fortress! Necromancers! Vampires! Werebeasts!
My wereslug necromancer adventurer is wreaking havoc on the enemy human civilizations. Unfortunately he died when a horde of goblins ambushed him in his slug form.

One problem I find is that its really hard to make a profit trading. In the old system, caravans, the time to travel, and the soldiers needed to protect against vagabonds, just didn't allow for much profit to be made. The only reason to trade was to help feed your realm's city, or to transport food across to another realm and help them feed their cities. Of course, this was just in my experience with trading.

The way I see it, SA priests should take the sides of their realm, and not stay neutral in any conflict. I would love to see priests on both side of the Summerdale/Libero war using the peasants to help win the war. Who's side is the Bloodstars on?
