Other Games / Online Tabletop RPG's (DnD etc)
« on: March 18, 2012, 04:35:46 PM »
So was talking in another thread, and something i've been thinking bout for some time is doing an Online RPG Campaign (the exact rpg used to be decided at a later date).

Now, there are two traditional methods of doing this online, one is a forum based one where people post x per week (where x is decided by the GM) and the other is via VoIP.

Now because every GM and RPG system is different, both of those methods usually change with who is doing what. And with the internet and some...ah...careful reading of laws etc, most RPG books are obtainable quite easily: meaning that any potential system available anywhere can be found on the internet.

So what I am proposing is that those who would be interested in an online campaign, post below with availability times (if you could all post it in UTC/GMT so that we have a standard time, would be sweet) for those who would not mind it being VoIP. And we'll leave it at that for now. If people are interested, things can start moving :)

Other Games / Skyrim Mods
« on: February 24, 2012, 11:49:16 AM »
So since the workshop is out and there are plenty of vanity mods and tweaks out there, thought it might be nice to see what people is running since I am no longer up to date thanks to releasing my own mod and starting work on a second.

Oh, and since the Navmesh bug is going to be fixed finally after 5 years (i'll believe it when I see it!), are you looking forward to the BIG mods?

Other Games / Steam Warning:
« on: November 11, 2011, 03:10:39 AM »
A warning from steam:

http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/

Quote
Dear Steam Users and Steam Forum Users:

Our Steam forums were defaced on the evening of Sunday, November 6. We began investigating and found that the intrusion goes beyond the Steam forums.

We learned that intruders obtained access to a Steam database in addition to the forums. This database contained information including user names, hashed and salted passwords, game purchases, email addresses, billing addresses and encrypted credit card information. We do not have evidence that encrypted credit card numbers or personally identifying information were taken by the intruders, or that the protection on credit card numbers or passwords was cracked. We are still investigating.

We don’t have evidence of credit card misuse at this time. Nonetheless you should watch your credit card activity and statements closely.

While we only know of a few forum accounts that have been compromised, all forum users will be required to change their passwords the next time they login. If you have used your Steam forum password on other accounts you should change those passwords as well.

We do not know of any compromised Steam accounts, so we are not planning to force a change of Steam account passwords (which are separate from forum passwords). However, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to change that as well, especially if it is the same as your Steam forum account password.

We will reopen the forums as soon as we can.

I am truly sorry this happened, and I apologize for the inconvenience.

Gabe.

Feature Requests / Scout Report Sharing.
« on: October 04, 2011, 02:58:34 PM »
Would be nice to be able to "Share Scout Report with the Army" manually from the Scout Report itself after the actual Scouting is done.

Also would be nice to be able to Share with all Armies/Realm ;)

Feature Requests / Ability to Withdraw Oath Offers to Paused/AutoPaused
« on: September 19, 2011, 12:16:37 PM »
As the subject says. I would very much love the ability to withdraw my oath offers from those characters that decide to Pause or Auto-Pause. I do not like it when they pop back up on the very day the oath offer is to expire and decide to accept even though I have taken another Knight. It is, slightly annoying.

Is it working as intended when I spend an hour looking for Monsters/Undead yet gain 2 hours worth of fatigue?
