Feature Requests / Adjust the Zuma NPCS
« on: January 31, 2012, 08:38:35 PM »
I think we should find one or two more GMs to assist the current GM in playing the Zuma Daimons.

I think it will infinitely improve the flavor of the Zuma, and will stop any feelings of disillusionment that players are starting to experience over what they see as the "bullying" of the Zuma over player-realms.

Thanks.

(If you want to debate whether or not the Zuma are good/bad, please refer to the Dwilight thread currently in progress, this is chiefly to explore the idea of adding more GMs to the Zuma)

Helpline / Recruitment centers
« on: September 27, 2011, 12:21:32 AM »
Does the region type ( ie. Woodland, townsland, city) have any effect on the quality of the recruitment center?

Are any regions better suited to creating certain types of centers? Ie. Woodlands tend to create better archers or cities better SF etc.

Also, do the regions stats, and whether they are good, mediocore, or bad, have any effect on RC quality.

Thanks.

BM General Discussion / Entrenched families in same realm
« on: July 20, 2011, 01:30:44 PM »
I was wondering what you guys thought, IC and ooc, of realms where it's common to see multiple members of the same family holding several positions of power simultaneously, and, in addition, when there's a select group of families who make up a majority of the power base.

Ex.

John X: marshal of the derp army, lord of fannyville

Bob X: duke of derp city

Will Y: duke of capital city

Bill Y: lord of handyland, judge of keplarstan

Matt Z: ruler of keplarstan, lord of Blahblobville

Zach Z: duke of Something city

Maybe because I've played mostly on Dwi I'm not used to this but it seems like a huge turn off coming to a realm like that when it seems the upper echelon is so entrenched for seemingly ooc reasons.

Thoughts?

Helpline / OOC Clans
« on: April 29, 2011, 10:32:55 PM »
What is the difference between an OOC clan, which constitutes cheating and is generally frowned upon, and a group of RL friends who play in the same realm  simply because they enjoy playing together?

Is it that the group of friends don't game the system or have aggressive goals that ruin everyone else's fun?

Or are they both bad because they involved out of game communication?

Essentially I guess, the question is how does one ensure they're not cheating or playing unfairly while playing alongside someone who is an ooc friend?
