Helpline / I killed my own religion?
« on: June 10, 2014, 12:17:28 AM »
I have founded a religion in BT, and I had the religion-manage options.

So I had the "brilliant" idea of demote the founder to elder status...  ::) ... And all the options had disappeared of the religion page!? Now, I only can read the internal and the members only boards... I have no options at all.

It's a bug, or I have (very effectively, I must say) killed my own religion?  :P

Helpline / Eternal immigration?
« on: May 23, 2014, 01:13:33 PM »
Hello!

One of my characters have migrated to the Colonies, and it have been in this state for 2-3 days already:

"Edgar   W   -    immigrating, arriving next turn"

Or immigration is really slow, or he has been stopped in the border control...  ;D

Feature Requests / New human rogue forces
« on: August 22, 2013, 08:17:50 PM »
Title: New Human rogue forces

Summary: Add new human rogue forces to the existing monsters and undead.

Details: There will be one or various types of 'human-rogue' (peasant mobs, bandits, etc...) besides the non-human already existent.

Infiltrators (and maybe Diplomatic/Ambassadors) would spend an amount of gold and produce this kind of rogues. The bigger the amount of gold, the stronger the rogues will be. For a few gold coins you will only get some bad-armed peasants, but if you spend a obscene amount of gold, you will get a small army of mercenaries pretending to be a peasant mob.

In short, it will work as a 'monster summon scrolls' but with gold.

Possible Exploits: I suppose the same as scrolls.

Feature Requests / REJECTED: Change Background
« on: August 22, 2013, 05:38:44 PM »
Title: Change Background

Summary: Change the Background colour of all windows... I know, this is not exactly a 'feature', but it's a request... so I suppose this is the most correct site to put it.

Details: Maybe is a stupid change, (mostly psychological) but black is void... is D.O.S... A black window is a void window, an 'old game' window. To change it to a dark brown or 'wood colour' would be almost instantaneous, and it would give the game a more 'modern' view.

It's only a small aesthetic change, but this small things can have some importance with new players retention.

Possible Exploits: Obviously None.

BM General Discussion / Units -defensive/berseker-
« on: June 10, 2013, 12:19:01 AM »
There is some reason that explains why the units on -defensive- behave like berserker and charge ahead the moment they aren't tied to a wall?  :P

It would be a minor change (I think) but it would change a lot (for better I think) the battles.

thoughts?

BM General Discussion / Inexpugnable cities
« on: April 09, 2013, 01:36:12 PM »
I don't know if is me, but in the last wars than I saw I noted one growing impregnability of cities. In realms with, at better, ten warriors, any city who can have easily 5-10 militia units is simply non-attackable.

Helpline / Family History bug?
« on: April 08, 2013, 11:50:20 PM »
Somebody knows how much time takes the Family History to receive 'changes'? One of my characters was named Duke three days ago, but the Family History don't show it, nor the Family Fame has increased.

I thought it could take some time, but three days seems a little too much?  :P

Helpline / Zombie Duke?
« on: April 01, 2013, 09:48:09 AM »
A friend of mine have a problem.  ::)

The Capital of his realm is starving, and have a inactive duke (of Royal status). He thinks this duke was to be paused in one day or two, but now, with the access date 'reset' He will be in his position another 7 days! so the city is going to be starving for at least 9-10 days.  :P

Someone knows some way out of this?

Beluaterra / bad luck or bug, in tournament training?
« on: March 10, 2013, 12:21:59 PM »

A Question: I have been training with the lance in the last tournament, six times with no success... Someone has made it? If nobody has been successfully with the training, it could be a bug... if not, it's only a severe case of bad luck!  :P

Helpline / Disrupt travel, how works?
« on: January 20, 2013, 03:15:14 PM »
I found nothing about it.

When you see the options for infiltrators, it don't shows. Only work when travel? Disrupt the region, or only the 'road' between two regions? How long remain the disruption? how risky is?

Development / Looting and population.
« on: January 13, 2013, 01:12:07 PM »
This last days I'd read some topics about how looted regions would recover faster.

The looting would have a direct effect in the region: to make the population to flee for hundreds. Yes, you destroy some infrastructure, kill some peasants, steal some gold, etc... but the real effect would be to frighten the peasant and cause them to flee the region in panic.

Probably this is non possible to make right now, but the idea would be to make the population to emigrate more easily, and with more consequences.

A region is looted: the population would flee in panic and go to the neighbour regions. The looted region would be depopulated and economically destroyed, but when the war ended all the peasants would come back for hundreds and in no time the region would be in a reasonable state again.

Another interesting thing would be to make possible for regions to be overpopulated, and to have consequences if they are. A poor populated region could be favoured if some hundreds of refugees comes from a looted neighbour region (or not, as they could have other gods, and other culture). But an already overpopulated region could become overcrowded, and this would affect production, moral, etc... even cause riots, and rebellions if things get out of control.

...

Another thing, when a region is starving, they would be a very high probability for the region to rebel, the peasant would take arms and the region would go rogue (or try, at least). Is so strange to see how a region population die until the last man, but totally loyal to the lord who let them die.

Development / Infiltrator's Camouflage
« on: November 09, 2012, 09:33:32 AM »
Usually, The only nobles without unit are Traders, Priest and Infiltrators and maybe some diplomat. The thing is all this club-class but infiltrators are public, so this not make very easy to be 'in the shadows'. You have a big sign with an pointing arrow: 'Probable Infiltrator'.  :P

I think it could be useful for Infiltrators have their sub-class not hidden, but changed to one of the others unit-less class... The infiltrator would chose if he want to be seen as a plain warrior or as a trader, diplomat, or priest...

Development / Espionage
« on: October 27, 2012, 01:38:31 PM »
I don't know if this has been talked before...

There is some way to spy a noble? Look into his last letters, etc...? Aside sending him to jail and torture him for information... this can be effective, but usually a bit extreme.  8)

If not, it could be a good thing! Both, to make 'true' investigations, as to make false accusations with forged proofs.

Development / Island Cronicle?
« on: October 05, 2012, 12:58:09 PM »
It could be possible to have some kind of islands chronicles?

Some site? message? option? where the nobles (or maybe only the council members) of every island could post the most important 'happenings' (probably with their personal POV or some RP)... It could be used to put it in the new Face-Book page and for the newcomers nobles to know what happened in the island before their arrival.

Helpline / Losing moral when recruiting?
« on: October 05, 2012, 12:42:11 PM »
A Question... Is possible to loss moral when you recruit some men for a unit?

My unit (65 men) had almost 100% morale, and I recruited another 20 (with moral 100% too)... The outcome is a unit of 85 men with moral of 1 ??? and a cohesion of 34% when the original unit was around 25%???

This is something really, really rare...or a bug?
