Helpline / Re: Capital unchanged after previous capital secedes

Is there a requirement that the capital need to be at core control? I am pretty sure that region control drops right?

use the dynamic map with Regions overlays, should solve most of the problem.

I used to cannot find a path during route for Maira Merani. Then I say to myself: This is Colonies, lands of blind scribes. We will find a way to get there anyway ;)

I think there was a bug where you can only reach Maira Merani from ?Naan Forest?. And the lines around the regions in the dynamic maps are just very weird, they are either too big or too small, especially for cities.

Rio is crazy now with all the new nobles looking for positions and gold, and the old guard DUKE-ing it out. Not the good kind of crazy mind you, but at least there's stuff happening.

Which means regroup in a smaller geography, accept losses and happy hunting.

With these large hordes, Rio should be able to make 2 armies which go bashing, but you'll prob be forced to give up Jidington area, if not the city itself. Look at it from the brightside, you won't be bored for quite a while and you'll be earning lots of honor and prestige :)
We were doing that even before the invasion officially started, we had 4-5k stacks of undead in like 8 regions before it began.
Come to Riombara for h/p, gold, and drama  8)

Its no biggie, just casual 120-130k spread around Rio with the biggest stack being 20k

"Only knights of the region or nobles without land can be assigned to a region, because everyone else already has an active oath of fealty. Please note that this means that any noble of Riombara with an estate not in the region you wish to appoint them to must leave their estate in order to be appointed as Lord."

Derp.... Dont mind me...  :-[

Ok thx, I think I mix it up with the old estate system or the one before that.

Helpline / Appointing own knights as Lord of other regions.
« on: December 13, 2015, 09:30:55 PM »
So I am the Duke of Irombro. I have a knight of Irombro city under me. I was looking at the Govern regions button for a week or two to try and appoint him to one of the regions under my Duchy, but I couldnt. Only nobles available were knights that already had an estate there or nobles without an estate. So I tried kicking him out of his estate, and only then I was able to appoint him as lord.

Working as intended?
IIRC, weren't Dukes allowed to appoint all the nobles under their Duchy to regions under their Duchy?

Dont really recommend you doing that, you get half the hours per day to train and most realms in the Colonies are not exactly flushed with gold

Helpline / Re: Referendum

I think it should be running for everyone else except for you.  :P
You only get to see referendums running if you are in the realm and not imprisoned at the start of the referendum

but there isn't an election to run in. The elections failed and the incumbents were  not kicked out, so we dont have a repeat election.

Referendum Results   (14 days, 14 hours ago)
The referendum "Vote for the General" has ended. Here is the final tally:

    0 abstentions
    64 votes were not cast.

There were no valid choices for this referendum, so there was obviously no winner.

With the failure of the election, the people are visibly upset and wonder what will happen to their realm.

As a reminder, the full text of the referendum was:
This is the monthly election for the position of General (High Constable).

All nobles of the realm will vote, each vote having the same weight.

Riombara have been getting this message for the past two weeks. Our general and our judge did not contest their monthly elections and  neither did anyone else, the election failed but they were kept in office as they were still incumbents. I think this has been causing across the board drop in realm control. I just want to be certain if its a bug before i report it to the bugtracker.

Your "unintentional" wrong unit settings sure gave Kurlock an epic death. Are you sure it wasn't scripted?  ::)
