Morek moved their capital to Muspelheim recently.

How's Dwilight these days? Most fun I ever had in BM was on Dwilight.
The Southern League (D'Hara, Fissoa, Morek and Astrum) war against Luria has resulted in a number of changes in eastern Dwilight. In the north, Morek Empire has split into a bunch of different realms while Astrum has decided to try reclaiming the Libidizedd isle from monsters. In the south, Luria Nova and Fissoa have signed peace with Fissoa splitting into two realms (new Fissoa and Madina).

Did Urtagoth make every Townsland and City in Morek into different duchies?

I knew that Urtagoth guy was only trouble.

I'm still honestly not even sure what the point behind this was. but let's start some new FUN!, no Homers or lurians allowed.

No Lurians allowed ? But we want in on the fun...  :(

Could not create directory "mwstore://local-backend/local-public".

Did I do something wrong? the destination file name I used was: Dwilight_May_26_2015.png

A few Dwilight changes that come to mind:
  • reduce the winter travel penalties.
  • speed up sea travel by 10-20% so that you can cross most sea zones in one turn.
  • move the tomb isles north to just south of Libidizedd OR move Libidizedd isle south.
  • move the Madina and Fatmilak islands north.

I believe the region must be without a region lord.

And nothing code wise has changed.
Could you expand on that? The spawn rates were turned up for all of Dwilight for the invasion but then they were lowered again (at least in the East) after the west went rogue.

Astrum also has a picture showing their pre-invasion realm.

The Barca and Asylon realm wiki pages have some partial maps from the beginning of the invasion.

The four coastal cities of Candiels (1894gold), Paisly (1728gold), Golden Farrow (3086gold), and Eidulb (2159gold) have a population of 1 each so they would require a long time to recover. Candiels is too far south for any realm to make an attempt to retake besides Fissoa with D'Haran help.

Echiur and Darfix have the highest current populations but are on the far side of the continent and unreachable. Chateau Saffalore has a population of 1138 out of 16893 but would require securing the townsland of Saffalore (population 1) first and isn't a particularly wealthy city (943 gold) so it would have trouble supporting militia and other costs.

Excluding Echiur and Darfix, Libidizedd has the highest population with 4348 people (max pop. 37732) and would make a good capital for a colony to settle the west. It is reasonably wealthy (1905gold) as well. Across the cobalt gulf, you have the city of Eidulb and its townsland plus, the stronghold of Shrine of Seeklander directly to the north that would all have potential fortifications to help with resettling.

And with the thread sufficiently derailed...

If the current war ended, I've considered pausing my character and starting a new character to try out a different realm. But, I might end up taking a break from BM when my son is born in a few months.

How does Morek participating make it a religious war? It is completely possible for them to wage war without making it a holy war.
Sure, it could be possible for them to wage war without making it a holy war. But, Morek has claimed that the war is secular and at the same time argued that the presence of the bloodmoon cultists in Luria represents a threat justifying their war against Luria. in contrast to Morek, Astrum's involvement has been secular at least from my perspective.

A theocracy bringing  a religious component to their actions, imagine that. Still that is a far cry from a religious war supported by all the SA puppet states of the league isn't it.
Heh, I'm not agreeing with Glaumring's assessment. I've never imagined SA to have much influence over D'Hara and Fissoa. Besides not liking Luria, the League nations don't seem to be able to agree on much.

There's been a religious component to the current war ever since Morek decided to join the party. Let them declare a religious war, the more the merrier!

You have not been paying much attention. The league is in general delusional. They want peace, so long as they lose nothing in achieving it. People have a new goal they can not move on to while the war wages, so they are willing to get peace to pursue that so long as it doesn't cost them anything. Pride seems high enough still that they aren't willing to consider a peace agreement were they appear to have lost. We shall know more shortly as the league hashes out what they think a "fair" arrangement is.

I completely agree on the League being delusional. Up until Barca was destroyed they seemed to think that victory was right around every corner.
