I’m going to start off by saying I’ve only recently started playing on EC and from what I can see the atmosphere is rather pleasant. That being said I think that this matter has been blown out of all proportion.

The main problems with the Titnens from my perspective are three fold:

•    You do not know your accuser – This is a fundamental flaw in my opinion as the right to know your accuser is fundamental to any fair trial or investigation. In America I believe it’s the 6th Amendment.
  
     You have no rebuttal – That is there is no chance for the accused to present his case to the Titans before judgment is passed.  Therefore you do not allow the defendant any chance to present his case and any mitigating circumstances before Judgment.
     
     There is no transparency – This is fairly self-explanatory. The Titans are not accountable to anyone who plays the game; this may not be the case but when proceedings and arguments are held behind closed doors with no explanation of the methodology or reasoning behind a ruling you give credence to this argument.   

Personally I did not like the Magistrates as they were but I detest the idea of a ‘KGB’ style secret police with no apparent accountability. You will never be able to make everyone happy but I fear you will lose more players than this if reform is not made.

I may be missing something but when you announced the closure of the magistrates you said that there would be a merging of a sorts between the two roles.

What's happened about this? Do we still see cases or results on the Forum? Or do we find out when things change in game?

This is all hot air.

SOMETHING had to be done. Wrongly or rightly this is what was chosen. We should all work to make the game better rather than bicker over actions we cannot change.

We're only British when 'muricans are talking otherwise we're English, Irish, Welsh or ...though probably not for much longer because our northern brothers are mad Scottish. Generally people in the UK don't refer to themselves as British.

Inside the UK yes, but outside it's better to say British. Saves so much hassle.

Plus, being a Englishman living in Wales calling yourself British makes live so much easier

Lyonesse is in a difficult position. Not helped by it's members.

I don't think Darka wanted to fight them, but they really had no choice. They should have remained neutral; maby even helped CE or Darka. Open war will kill them; CE must refit and then Darka will finish then off.

BTW when did Lyonesse become a Theocratic realm?

Too depressing to talk about.

One of the reasons I put off coming back... I didn't want to see what had happened. 

I'd tell you, but I might accidentally let slip some IC information, and we're not supposed to do that in the forums anymore.

So your best bet is to join CE and ask with your noble. 

It would be one hell of a walk, my noble is in Telwood. Plus I doubt you'd be too happy with the Dictator of the Barony joining you

So, I've not played Battlemaster since September, mainly due to a lack of internet/time. Judging from the lack of Characters I presume BoM was subjugated.  Lyonesse seem to have  a new ruler [Nice banner btw] and are at war with Darka? 

Anyone care to elaborate?

Johnny never once, in the nine years I've known the guy, provided empirical evidence for his assertions about the Behexed Artillery.

Not to be rude or anything but would you not be able to tell as a dev I mean? It must be in the game code if it exists.

That seems correct but no hours have been allocated not has travel happened; at-least with my characters.

I've only one battle report for my unit but 6 Be-hexed artillery scored 159 hits. 

I think that's more than enough to class them as battle winners.

I have to say it would be nice if it was included in the stats.

Other than higher CS and cost I have never personally seen the 'special abilities' but that's just me.
