Can a knight join another realm if he is in the same region as one of the Lords of this realm?

Any news on the progress of the invasion? Down south in Riombara news travel slow.  ;D

I'll continue saying what I have been saying for a year:

BM has the better community and longer history.
M&F has the much, much better codebase.

Transitioning BM to a clean codebase will take several more years. Why not start fresh?

As someone who is currently playing both of these games I would tend to agree. Although it would greatly depend on how exactly this would be done. I've often found that each of the games is missing something the other one has. BM has more PvP interaction, better community, better setting and is much much better optimized. It is more simple to play BM than M&F. M&F is too tedious and too demanding in almost all aspects but in return offers world depth in terms of game mechanics, absolute freedom in almost everything and great fluidity without rules; which is not always a good thing.  In my opinion the perfect game is somewhere in the middle between these two.

I think you're missing the point. You are making a parody of a perfectly viable and realistic medieval setting, where each of the Dukes are/were competing for the throne. Being a King is the ultimate position and it is only natural that the candidates are plotting, scheming and doing all in their power to climb that ladder. Their vassals support them, knowing well that probably a reward is somewhere along the road, which creates rifts and lack of unity that was planted probably years ago. Big realm, several strong Dukes, all vying for power. It is a perfect medieval simulation that makes the passing of the Crown a risky and dangerous transition as secessions and rebellions are most likely on the verge. I don't see anything wrong with it and like the realistic approach behind it.

Riombara looks like a wrecking train somehow still holding it together. Dukes on ego-trips slapping each other with referendums while the undead rise from beneath the seas, threatening to pull us all down. Needless to say I am loving it. :D

BM General Discussion / Re: Realm run by guilds

The locked Council doesn't allow for the expansion or customization of the same which is why I personally feel that using the guild to expand the available government positions would be a nice idea. Been wanting to do it myself somewhere along the line.

Development / Intra-realm fighting
« on: December 07, 2015, 10:14:21 PM »
It would be a good idea to be able to takeover the regions withing your own realm. Intra-realm fighting is fun and while it'd probably be a pain to write a code that allows official war between two Dukes of the same realm for example, merely allowing takeovers and looting within your own realm would allow for some fun stuff to happen. It would be a completely unofficial way of conducting war as Duke John could ride off and loot the farmlands of Duke Rob for stealing his bride, for example. Let the players deal with IC this themselves. If you put in the murderous behavior as a way to target your own realm mates, then the system would be partially implemented with (relatively) existing game mechanics.

Glad to help. It will probably be a pain to rejuvenate the game if new players can't join. Any idea how soon before this can be fixed?

I am trying to rejoin the game with a fresh account but the mail I am supposed to get is not coming. I am using gmail. I've tried several different mails but the confirmation mail is never there. I've checked the spam - not there. I am not using any whitelist software. I wonder if this thing is broken or am i doing something wrong.

BM General Discussion / Re: Crazy Merger Idea
« on: August 27, 2015, 09:53:48 PM »
As someone who plays both, I'd best describe both games with the following: Might and Featly has more clicking than writing, while Battlemaster has more writing than clicking, The silver linings are somewhere in the middle, so an ambitious merger that would merge only the best traits of both would be tremendous. But probably too ambitious.
