Yes, I have similar impressions in some games. I will do some local testing where I can check more precisely what is going on.

Can you give me an example with time when it happened?

I noticed it in some of the games yesterday (if that's helpful enough for time?)

***Edit - Day 30 in Blauunk
***Edit2 - Day 40 in Koenigsbaum (1800 German time today). Stone repair job. Needed 3 for two repair tasks, had 1, one task worked, other failed due to lack of resource, currently have 2 stone stored.

It also still seems as though the family will only eat if there is enough food for all of them to have a meal, I only ever have my family at the same hunger levels and often have food sat there for less than all of them.

Still seems to be something not quite right with repair and gather order. It's happened in a few games recently where I know I've calculated I ensure I gather enough resource for the repair work I'm also doing but then get failed construction messages (whilst having enough resources listed in my family for that repair (before and damage from that night then happened)

It also still seems as if eating happens before food gathering has been counted as some of my peasants got hungrier, despite there being left in the house overnight enough food for all of them.

Senate law didn't change, it has always stated that infiltrators should be encouraged to join Assassins if they want to have the protections afforded there (no execution and such) whereas infiltrators who choose to stay in other realms can be tortured/executed/deported as others see fit.

The information has been written on main board and internal boards of the senate for a very long time, just been misinterpreted recently.

As for bans, you had to leave Outer Tilog because you kept stabbing Outer Tilog nobles and refused to stop. Why would a realm keep you if you keep attacking its own nobles?

Can ask other realms to contribute their nobles if they do not want that new realm seen as Outer Tilog puppet. Since sure got people worry about it, why not ask them send their own? ;)

That said, I think there is less problem for the city secession. The only problems I see if nobles joining in, and the food since I hear the city starving or something.

Another note is what is the new realm name based in Giblot city? Giblot Magnum... Giblot...

This has already been mentioned in the Senate twice recently (by Rakaarox, asking anyone who is interested to head that way and to let the people not in the Senate know as well).

The name is one of only two conditions being placed on the new realm :) There shall be no Giblot in it!

I'm wondering if maybe there needs to be a greater difference between some of the damages done (or benefits of stone over wood).

Stone only taking one less damage from everything, whilst it is quite hard to get any of it built, got me wondering a little.

Also, not being able to upgrade fences (due to them being damaged straight after being erected so you can only repair them (if they survived)) is a bit frustrating. Although I know the point is everyone is supposed to die.

Would you maybe be able to have semi-customisable games? Where certain options/values could be selected to be in effect for that game? (might be useful as well for the beta to see which options worked out best/most fun for all)

If you hover over the field, it should say something like "growing (4)" - meaning it has 4 food left.

Nope. Maybe in the version you're using but not in 18? (I'm pretty sure I'm on 18 due to date on file, would be useful to have the version number on the opening page somewhere (unless it's already hiding somewhere?))

File shown as last modified on 10th May...

Opened in Xcode, nothing on the list regarding sound, just resolutions, ID & key, and something for tutorial... Total of 9 items.

With fields being damaged when walked across, it might be useful to see how much food they will yield. At the moment, potentially you could harvest one with 1 food left, so would be better off going to the forest. I say this seeing that a field in one of my games (not my field) lost 3 food this turn and still can't be harvested. Maybe there should be a guaranteed minimum yield, or start with a higher base value (though that would then change game tactics as it would be easier to stockpile early).
An indicator for how much food is left on a field would be useful though :)

Only library/preferences folder is from the root (library folder in same location as 'system', 'users' & 'applications'. That file isn't doesn't appear anywhere there, or in a search. ????

If that file is supposed to be in the base Library directory (I can't see any others) then that may be the problem, as it's not there. A search also doesn't seem to show that file existing anywhere else. Do you need to include something that creates it initially?

Anyone else having the same issue?

That is very, very strange. Can you find the settings file and check it?

Any pointers as to where to find the settings file and what it would be called? There are a lot of files with a lot of text in that package... I'm hunting, but a pointer would be useful :)

**edit - can only find one settings file - settings.map - but can't see anything related to sound within it :(

Hm, you sure about the first part? Because it works for me.

Definitely. Each time I start the game, music is playing. My first action each time is to go to settings and untick that box.

In which case, if you see my post a couple above, there's something wrong with repairing houses. I've made some notes in a couple of games I can see the issue is definitely there, in the hopes I might be able to give more info!

The background music option doesn't remember the option from previous settings (I turn off sounds on most things.), also an option to turn off the sound effects is also required :)

Or maybe repair values are costing more than the listed values?

My thoughts on how things should run (which they may, but I'm not clear):

1 - all gathering (done first thing in the morning)
2 - repairs/planting/taking
3 - building
4 - eating
5 - darkness and the beasts it brings.

(Think I covered everything that happens...)
