GUIIIS I was busy infiltraiting, Can someone summarize the last two weeks or so for me? i'd be very grateful.

In fact, Where's BarticaBoat with his continental analysis? XD

After the Yellow Wings left Highmarch, it left a bad taste in the mouth of those left in Highmarch, and they got serious about seeking peace with the NA. We all came to an agreement (which I won't go into here because "spoilers", check in game, I'll send you a copy). The SA obviously feel this is a betrayal.

I seriously still don't get these references at all. It was explained to me yesterday that originally Inquisition in Keffa was based on 40k (whatever that is) and then with no demons left it became the pussy variant in Rines till G2 brought it back to 40k? (Without me knowing what that is, I'm confused).

The Inquisition are secret police that hunt down the corruption caused by the Forces of Chaos (The "Warp", also known as the Realm of Chaos, is the dimension that ships enter to travel FTL, it's ruled over by Lovecraftian horrors that want to break into the "Real World" basically), Heretics (basically anything but absolute faith in the God Emperor is not tolerated), mutants and rebels (the former because the Imperium of Man is kinda racist), and assaults from vicious alien species (think Aliens or the Zerg). They rather lack empathy for their fellow Humans (or anyone else really) in following what they consider their holy purpose. If need be, they can call down a verdict of Exterminatus, basically destroying an entire planetary biosphere and all life upon a world (and if a few billion lives have to be lost in the process of protecting the Imperium of Man, so be it! Nuke it from orbit, it's the only way to be sure).

There was a lot happening at the time, and I was planning to retire Selenia at the time to become the sort of silent senior noble in GX while I focused my player energy on Rania; so I hope I was able to provide the details you were looking for!

That's funny, I was thinking of retiring Aramon to courtier and maybe priest work when I had him join GX, since I'm not a very active player normally. One of motivating factors of me joining GX was the presence of    David Wierbiki (Iuz Vidar Crownguard), who I consider a friend, and I think one or two others I knew. Things just sort of happened from there.  :P

Does anyone know anything about Rila? Someone who was apparently killed by the Daimons? I possess the "Macabre Morningstar of Rila's Impaled Head" and would like to know more about the character so I can write a description for it.

Fallangard was a non-issue due to standing agreements by GX with Caligus, and Caligus didn't get involved militarily until Vix and Perdan did. Ironically, if Fallangard had gotten involved offensively, Caligus would have declared war against GX, due to long standing disputes between Caligus/Fallangard, so our nearest ally was limited to defensive/protective actions only.

On Beluterra I really enjoy holding the Morningstar of Rila's Impaled Head (or something along those lines, need to collect it from the advie I gave it to for repair), and I'm waiting to whip out the Staff of Angmar (as Drawulf is the Judge and one of the founding nobles of Angmar!) and the Wicked Nose of the Colonies (as my family is from the Colonies and the family home is located in Outer Tilog in Hilly Holes). I wish I had the time to build up some backstory for them.

Militarily, probably not anytime soon, if ever. Diplomatically, maybe.

Sure, it'll be a massive headache to bring the area back to snuff after being depopulated from genocide and hordes, but its more of a roleplay goal than a strategic one. Homeland, and all that.

Bingo. Long term goals yo! I fully expect (assuming Redhaven survives long enough for it to become reality ;p) for the old Greater Xavax to become a sort of "Holy Land" for new Red Haven "Crusaders" to fight for. My character might not be there with them (being a Hero and all), but I've laid the ground work toward leading them to the "promised land" (although Alara did help out by declaring Hatred against us, it'll be easy to sell them as "The Enemy").

"Cult of Personality" when Selenia is gone and JeVondair has a character among our enemies. While being named her heir worked out for Aramon; Aramon isn't Selenia. Aramon doesn't have her force of personality or experience.

And yes "Johnny-Come-Latelys": Asher Renodin, Smiddich Fontaine, Sigrid Gudrun Auru'in, Ayden Torrarin JeVondair, (am I missing anyone?) as in their characters barely had any time in Greater Xavax (or none, in the case of CrypticCyper's Sigrid). Ironic you talk about repeating mistakes then quote your old character, who was disposed by his General/Marshal, Vice-Marshal, and both Dukes (was the Judge and Banker also involved? I can't remember who held those positions then), most of whom would leave to take up position of power in the realms you're now buddying up to (Vix and Perdan).

So here is my question.

What is the difference between this group and the other one(in Highmarch?)?

It consists of mostly core members of former Xavax, including Selenia's chosen successor (Aramon) as Xerarch, the writer of it's laws (Godric), and it's general (Lionel). The "Yellow Wings" are mostly johnny-come-latelys to former Xavax.

RedHaven has seceded from Sirion, forming a new Xavaxian State under Xerarch Hector Serpentis Tandaros. Let the games begin! *Evil eyebrow wiggle*

EC
Sirion (Aramon)

BT
Angmar (Drawulf)

Colonies
OT (Vladamire)

DWI
Astrum (Mastraacht, until recently, now in Sol)

Not saying that having an Abjur in your realm will boost talking, just saying you should see the number of messages I have waiting for me when I check them. :p

Godric (Family ka Habb, BaricaBoat I think his name is on these forums) wrote Xavax's laws, something I was loathe to touch during Aramons tenure as Arbiter because it's an impressive (if a bit ponderous) document. He and JeVondair deserve more credit for the Xavax Wiki pages, they put a lot of work in there.

And JeVondair, you sell yourself short. Xavax could have fallen apart after the failed rebellion, but you pulled us together in a way that I've not seen elsewhere. Hell, I was expecting to settle Aramon down into the quiet life of a priest or a courtier after the rebellion, but Selenia managed to bring out sides of that character I thought were long dead in him (after all, it's not to every woman he awkwardly suggests using himself to legitimize their pregnancy! :p)

Yes, I do recall Magnus Aurea something as Xavax first Ruler. Is he still around, I not sure. That's what you get when too many characters around, only some leaders names I recall well.

His player is, Sigrid Aru'un in the game and CryptCypher in this thread. :) The Princes are an honorary position and were never meant to have political power per say, Selenia had selected only one heir before her leaving, my character Aramon Abjur, whose claim is supported, as JeVondair said, by much of the old guard.
