I think the rule about playing as if playing with friends at the dinner table applies here, if someone (or in this case three someones) say they don't like that sort of RP, don't do that sort of RP around them in the future. Not only are there young players, but players who suffered sexual violence who would rather not read that sort of stuff in a game where they came to relax and have fun.

Especially with the relative cohesion we still have. Aramon has pretty much made it his life's goal to see the enemies of GX suffer though, especially Vix and Perdan.

In the days, changing realms automatically resulted in a ban from one's old realm.

I feel that should still be the case when a noble abandons a realm for a realm that they're at War or Hatred with. It would make spying like what the OP described a real risky proposition for the spy (if he gets caught by this old realm "why did they execute you?", when he goes back the realm he spied on has the chance to execute him if they catch him).

Yep, if we had gotten passage through Minas to attack Aren like we wanted in the first place we surely would have stayed out of the war Minas was already engaged in. Abyss, you might have been able to talk us into allowing you access to Wetham through our lands and avoided drawing Portion (and thus Lukon) into it. Never knew why you stuck so close to them when there was a possible win/win situation there, sure it won you our first conflict, but it made you enemies in a realm known for being torture/murder happy with very long memories. :p

Also, to answer the title of the thread, sinking the Colonies would be a very bad idea. Some people just don't have the time to play two turns a day and would more than likely leave rather than immigrate to another island where they couldn't be more involved. I mean, for awhile, I only had characters in The Colonies and that's where the Abjur family is from (Hilly Holes, to be exact), I'm pretty connected to that island and it's... unique setting (particularly Outer Tilog), to the point that it flavors my non-Colonies characters, since they're all from the same Daimon worshiping crazy family.

Aramon had at one point the Rusty Suit of Honesty paired with the Majestic Buckler of Dishonesty, which always got a chuckle out of me. I'm also fond of the Honed Broadsword of Unlife that Aramon lifted off Robb Starfall not long after the death and rebirth of Selenia JeVondair. I almost considered suggesting it had a hand in that.

Sooo atm, Yao Ling, accompanied by an army from Nivemus, is in Keffa. Rania, unconscious from her ordeal, lies naked in the gravel of the crater where she'd arrived. Yao Ling navigated her way through the hundreds of lessor Daimons protecting Rania to cover the younger noblewoman's modesty with her own cloak.


OOC...I tried preaching and the followers of the Portal took exception to that, wounding her, so now Rania really CANT respond to messages.


Gotta love how the game mechanics sometimes serve to reinforce the RP!

Nothoi, army of Nothoi. Bunch of Daishi zealots, most of them.

Soooooooo... It's not that it's not great to be in Xavax after hearing of you guys for so long, but... How do I put this... Do you always have so many people using those damned accident scrolls around you? Because this is going to be the second week in less than three weeks that I'm going to be left out while waiting for recovery 

Generally no, we only have one or two sage types down in the south for adventurers to get them from.

Still with the old same, WE NEVER PLANNED TO ATTACK XAVAX, Magnus wanted to attack Perleone and he wanted Alara to attack Minas Nova, I said yes but he had to declare war first, the reasoning was simple he feared that after he declared war on Perleone Alara and Minas Nova would backstab him, I wasnt planning on doing that I knew Xavax could take on the three of us as was later proved, if on the other hand Alara attacked Minas Nova and Xavax betrayed Alara then there was no way Alara could stand against the Xavax and Minas Nova, but Xavax never attacked Perleone now I know, because of what Gabanus said, that he was weary of Vix and Perdan intervening so I guess it is safe to say he would most likely betray Alara once we declared war on Minas Nova.

Once the traitor Sayuki disbanded the militia in Itorunt and took Itor Boss to Xavax things started to go south since Xavax never returned Itor Boss and gave safe heaven to someone who betrayed Alara, then Saradomin(Minas Nova´s ruler) told me we could join to attack Xavax and I told him I was going to think about it, then Magnus left and Selenia told me again they were not returning Itor Boss and since it was Saradomin who shared our letter with Magus discussing, not deciding, a possible attack on Xavax the relatioships between Minas Nova and Alara fell, we didnt talk at all, why would I talk to someone who betrayed me and showed a personal letter to Xavax, so there was no conspiracy believe me.

In the end I was quite surprised, and relieved, when Minas Nova decided to help us instead of joining Xavax, all thanks to good guy Saradomin, our alliance was signed a day after Xavax declared war on Alara.

"good guy Saradomin" now I've heard everything. He was trying to sell you down the river the very day Minas Nova allied with Alara.
